Atip — another term for bubong or roof.

So guys, what do you call the roof in your country, in your dialect, in your own language?

Here in the Philippines, especially in the province, we call it atip. In Northern Katagalugan — like in Cabanatuan City and nearby areas — it’s still commonly called atip instead of bubong.

It’s simple, but it shows how language changes depending on where you grow up. Same meaning, same purpose — different sound, different identity. That’s the beauty of dialects.
