Day 8 of Talamh environmental art festival Ireland
22/9/2023
I've become more known for my flute playing since Wednesday night at the Womens creative cafe. πΆπ I was keen to go back and play again at the visitors centre and record something as the acoustics were amazing.
Sean Corcoran offered to take me down and Pixie was looking for me to film and record me so it all came together just like that. A small bus load of people were in the Cafe so they were part of the impromptu concert and then they wanted a better sound so I tried it again with more cameras!! I just had to breathe. π¬πΆ
My flute playing has certainly been a expansion and has involved courage and belief in myself , big time and saying Yes. It's so wonderful everyone just wants the best for each other and to help people to shine β€οΈπβ€οΈπβ€οΈπ
I went to the sand to draw the balanced man and woman piece I had drawn at home with Equinox being here. I sketched it out and drew a couple of lines and thought....what if I shouldn't draw 'naked' people on the beach here in Ireland? Is it OK? What if....? What if.......? My mind went of on a whole story.
So I lay down on the sand and asked myself what was this really about. And I got the word 'shame'. Wow.....
Shame about drawing naked bodies
Shame about what people would say
Shame about what could happen next.....
Wow.
So I started to draw rainbows either side of these lines as a place of reflection. In the end the inside felt like the river of shame with all these negative thoughts running through it........
How could I change this energy? I drew my water sovereignty code (the picture on my drum) in the river. I thought when we each stand as soveriegn beings we stand stronger and taller and comfortable in our body, no shame.
The hearts after the code were coming back together,to completeness. And then flowing out to sea......
In that moment it all felt right.
Two beautiful souls Caroline and Neil Walker both walked around the circle from opposite directions meeting right at where I was, seeing if I need a lift back. Bless them. They were like the two beings on the sand. I don't have a higher perspective photo yet.
And lastly we went to hear an Irish band play and I was asked to play too!!

Day 7 of Talamh environmental art festival
88 days of dreaming my biggest dream
21/9/2023 part 2
A giant collaboration of all the environmental artists. What a magical time spent on the beautiful sand with all the elements collaborating with us.
Robert Bernal Jon Foreman Douglas Case Zinta IndulΔviΔa Case and Autumn Bernal created this amazing free standing arch. It was fascinating watching them all work together to create it.
Two circles design Mark and Rebecca and Florence created the willow free standing form in the centre over a couple of days
Sean Corcoran started the circle for the sand art, followed by Rachel then Ana Castilho The oak trees and balancing stones were by me and some of the public who came to play and Neil Walker finished it off. It was enormous.
Caroline Walker created stone guardians all around the outside.
Inside there were some beautiful stone creations designs by James Brunt and Caroline and Mayumi Nakabayashi
I helped Devin Devine put some stones in his medicine wheel.
Patty St Louis created the word Talamh in Ogham 'tree language' with coal brought from Scotland by the Walkers.
What a fabulous few hours it was all creating along side each other. Our chef Nigel brought the barb b que to us at the beach. What a star he was.
We lit a fire inside the willow free form flame and stood in a big circle. All the elements at once and watched the sunset.
Pure magic and a time I will never forget

Day 3 of Talamh festival, Ireland
17/9/2023
88 days of dreaming my biggest dream
The day started going on an adventure with a local to find Dunhill castle and a local Dolmer.
It was so beautiful up at the castle. The stone work is just amazing. And so beautiful with nature rambling its way over the ruin. It was built in the 15th century.
I played my drum and flute and we did some toning together which was so beautiful. Laurence Winram took these awesome photos of me with my drum and flute in the castle ruin
Then we went off to find a dolmer and have a look at it.
I've noticed my sensitivity to energy shifts has been heightened since I've been away so it was very cool to feel the shifts of energy there and which stones to touch and which not to.
I had a bit of an 'Outlander' moment when I touched one of the rocks which was very exciting...
Thanks Laurence Winram for some of the photos and for helping me up the giant stairs to the castle and to Ana Castilho for being part of the adventure and bringing your sound and Dara for driving us.
We then went to a local pub with a thatched roof to listen to some music, have a Guinness and a dance. So much fun!!

Day 2 of the Talamh festival, Ireland
16/9/2023
I'm at Ballydowane Bay on the Copper Coast creating. I was so grateful to be brought this beautiful beach with quartz in the cliffs. I had a visit from some wonderful faeries while I was there.....βοΈπ±π«πͺ.
Thank you so much for your kindness Olah and Lucy. It really meant so much to me you stopping by and sharing the wonderful Irish hospitality with me.
They brought me a thermos with hot
water in it, peppermint teabags, a mug, chocolate, chocolate biscuits and sparkly butterfly stickers. Wow!!
I was so grateful as I was truly in what felt like the middle of nowhere by myself.Little did I know then that this adventure was to become my "heroines journey".
My sand magic was a beautiful grounding creation, giving thanks to the land for calling me here and feeling my body move into more alignment with the rotation of the earth and the different hemispheres.
I picked up 7 stones of every chakra color in such a short time. Magical.

33 days of Love and Peace
Day 34
I always love how these magical journeys have a special surprise for me at the end.
My friends Kay Kay and Karla Gee took me to the ngahere(forest) today so I could breathe in the healing air from the trees and finally hug a tree. Its been a long time. It was a perfect boardwalk for the hired wheelchair and we were off.
We took the painted stones we made last week and placed them along the way. Sharing the love. Being the ripple.
We stopped for a wee picnic and all played our special musical instruments, to our selves, the birds and the beautiful souls that wandered by.
Two pigeons walked in front of us, guiding us along part of the journey.
Thank you Kay Kay and Karla for taking me on this special out today. Ive so missed being with the trees. β€οΈπ³π³β€οΈ

Day 33 15/9/2026
LOVE
EVOLVE
EVOLOVE
Its Day 33 already!
What a beautiful journey this has been noticing the love and peace in my life and calling more Love and Peace in.
These journeys are always so magical.
I love how i wrote part of this post this morning sharing my backwards writing in the sand. Its a super power.
I can read forwards, backwards and upside down. Can you?
As I started playing with the world EVOLVE in the water and freezing it, there was a different message everyday.
We are all evolving.
I loved how I learnt if I put a other 'O' in the word EVOLVE.... it said love forwards and backwards
EVOLOVE
That's the answer isnt it? LOVE
Thanks for joining me and thanks Kay Kay and Tracy Rees for sharing the love/aroha your way

Day 28 10/9/2026
Creating more Love and Peace rocks today, this time with two beautiful souls Kay Kay and Karla who come around to play.π¨
Such interesting conversations that went everywhere. ππ«π³π So glad to have the new posca pens being used.
We lit a candle with today being World Su***de Prevention day and remembered those who had passed. ππ
We are looking forward to going out and 'hiding' or gifting these rocks to people next week as the 33 days of Love and Peace completes. I can't think of anything more fitting to carry on the ripple effect of these 33 days.

33 days of Love and Peace
Day 27 9/9/2026
My love for this planet, Mother Earth.
Growing up with my Dad who went to WW2 in the Solomon Islands and my Mum born in 1930 in England at the beginning of the depression, both my parents have come from a background of survival and scarcity.
Through that they taught us children not to waste things, especially water.
Growing up in Albany, Auckland when it was rural farmland and orchards and strawberry fields, we were on tank water and on bath days, my sister and I would follow after my brothers who had been in the bath before us. Same bath water. Then Dad would siphon the water onto the garden.
Nothing was wasted.
I still carry that philosophy about taking care of water into my life now. There are so many modern appliances that waste so much water, all for convenience.
And now here we are at a pivotal moment on planet Earth, where for each of us, every choice in any moment, we make makes a difference to Mother Earths resources.
I will talk about a couple of people doing amazing things in NZ and the world another time.
Today I want to share the photo that I found that started this train of thought of Love and recycling today.
Its my teddy called Buttons. I made him out of a false fur coat I was given for my 21st in 1981. I wore it alot and then it sat in the cupboard for years. I didn't want to get rid of it for sentimental reasons as my Mum and Dad had given it to me.
I used to make lots of jointed teddy bears for my new nieces and nephews who were born in the 1990s, so in 1998 I made Buttons for a National teddy bear festival here in Christchurch. ( who remembers the teddy bear shop here in 1990s.? I loooooved it)
He had button eyes, that I found in my grandmas button tin. He sat in a recycled school suitcase that I repainted among daffodils that I made out of plastic drink bottles and dishwasher liquid bottles, holding a sign.....
Please recycle
A simple message from 25 years ago.
It still holds true in my heart and I still have Buttons the bear. β€οΈπΌπ»πͺ§π§°
