Our Medi Pedi is waterless for a few reasons.
When feet are soaked, the outer layers of skin absorb water and soften, a bit like the wrinkly skin you get after being in a swimming pool.

For the type of work we do, I actually prefer to see your feet in their natural, dry state. It allows me to clearly see and feel the areas of hard, thickened skin I’m working on, so I can be more controlled and precise with what I remove.

Keeping the service waterless also removes the foot bath from the equation. One less warm, wet environment that needs to be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between every client, and less concern around contamination associated with foot-spa systems.

And while a long soak might feel lovely, prolonged water exposure can temporarily soften and swell the outer layer of skin. For detailed hard-skin work, softer doesn’t necessarily mean better.

So no, we didn’t forget the foot bath.

We deliberately designed our Medi Pedi without one.
