After been shut for well over a year, since April 2025 in fact, the Ho**er Valley Track reopening has been announced.

Tuesday July 28 at 3pm

You’ll be able to check out the brand new 2nd bridge which is 189m long that crosses the Ho**er River

This makes its the longest suspension bridge in New Zealand

The Ho**er Valley Track is one of the most popular day hikes on New Zealand, ideal for beginners and families. Just make sure you dress to the weather
