Mood changes, stubborn skin issues, poor sleep, painful periods, gut problems, fertility challenges (the list goes on...🤪). Could hormones be playing a part?
Hormonal health is everywhere right now, across social media, in the news, and in everyday conversations. As a holistic health practitioner, it is an area I have immersed myself in so I can better support my clients (and my own incoming journey to per-menopause🙃).
At a recent hormone seminar, one question stopped me in my tracks. The answer was not what I expected.
What do you think is the number one disruptor of hormones in both women and men?
A. Plastics
B. Fragrances
C. Alcohol
D. Sugar
Drop your answer below before I reveal it in my next post. I will also share some surprising information about how it may affect your health.
Health enthusiasts seem to find other health enthusiasts. Thanks, algorithm. 😵💫😆
I am clairsentient, a big feeler, and the first few times I watched Haaland shopping at local farms and interacting with local people, I had no idea who he even was. I just sensed something different in him.
There is a depth in his eyes that, to me, reflects compassion, humility, and quiet strength.
One of my closest friends, who is Norwegian, once told me about Janteloven, the Scandinavian idea of humility, equality, and quiet strength over self promotion. She embodies it so deeply that she sometimes does not even see how incredible she is. ❤️ I can feel so much of that same grounded quality in him.
Humility and strength aren’t qualities I usually associate with professional footballers, which is why he stands out to me.
He’s a rare bird.🦅
Does anyone else get this sense from him, or has my algorithm built me a very convincing echo chamber? 😂
Homeopathy is the foundation inside my coaching work.
Not a random add-on.
Not a little extra on the side.
It helps us understand the deeper pattern behind what you are experiencing, and offers a remedy tailored specifically to you that supports your body’s innate ability to heal itself.
From there, coaching gives us space to work with the everyday pieces: your choices, habits, mindset, emotions, light exposure, boundaries, relationships, hydration, and the way you move through life.
Homeopathy gives the work roots.
Coaching helps it grow.
Curious how homeopathy and coaching could work together for you? Send me a message and let’s talk.

FROM BREAST TO RAW MILK 🥛🤍
Seven years ago, I joined a lovely raw milk co-op just as I was starting to wean my youngest off breastfeeding. 🌿
Over the years, I’ve met some beautiful people, from the lovely ladies in the shop to other local families who value nourishing food and community. 🫶
During COVID, the trip to collect our milk became an event. 🚗 It gave us a reason for a long drive, but it was also one of the few places where I felt welcomed, respected, and served despite my personal health choices.
I always enjoy browsing the shelves filled with homemade products and natural remedies, and having a good chat with the matriarch about holistic health. 🌱✨
I’m so grateful for genuine community, and for this wonderful church whose dedication to producing high quality food has helped support my family’s health and wellbeing over the years. ❤️🥛
Here’s to good food, good people, and the simple things that nourish us most. 🙏🤍

🪦🪽He’s been gone for six years today 💔
I’ve always held onto old cards, notes, and handwritten letters, shoeboxes and folders full 📦, because you never know how meaningful a crinkly old note might become, capturing a time, place, feeling, and memory I’m not ready to lose.
I still have a note Dad scribbled on the back of an old manila envelope left in the junk drawer before heading off to work. “Have a great day Kate, I love you. Dad” ❤️. Paper was never wasted in our house, so envelopes and receipts became his standard notepad 📝.
I don’t read it often because it stirs something deep in me. But every time I do, I can hear his voice so clearly even though it has been years since I’ve heard him speak 🎧. For this reason, I’m grateful I’ve always been a sentimental hoarder.
Grief changes with time. It never disappears. Your life just slowly grows around it 🌱.
Losing Dad so suddenly from iatrogenic causes changed the course of my life. It sparked my interest in natural medicine 🌿 and helping people understand that, where appropriate, they have options outside of stock standard pharmaceuticals and the risks they can sometimes bring.
Sentimental hoarding is not something everyone relates to, but for some, those little keepsakes carry a lot of emotional weight 💭. Sometimes, these patterns can offer gentle clues about how someone processes grief or connection, and they can even guide a homeopath to remedy choices like Natrum muriaticum, Carcinosin, or Ignatia. It’s a reminder that even the smallest details can hold deep meaning.
So now I’m curious 🤔.
Are you someone who keeps old cards, letters, and handwritten notes from the people you love? Or do you happily let them go?
People come to homeopathy for all sorts of reasons, from allergies and eczema to fertility, digestion, sleep, and so much more.
While homeopaths can work with a wide range of conditions, the women I’m most passionate about helping are the ones doing it all🤹♂️.
The women building careers, raising families, chasing goals, showing up for everyone else, all while dealing with chronic health issues and running on fumes😵💫😴.
They’re the women I see myself in🪞, and they’re the women I love supporting❤️.
Was there anything on the list that surprised you?
