📋 Appearance: White crystalline powder with a sweet, sugary, cotton-candy/caramelized aroma — distinct from vanilla, more "sugar" than "cream"
📊 Usage Ratio:
• Perfumery: 0.1% – 2% of total fragrance concentrate (very potent — small amounts go a long way)
• Body Butters & Balms: 0.05% – 0.3% of total formula
• Body Oils: 0.1% – 0.5% of total formula
Start low and build up — overuse can quickly tip a blend from "sweet" into "synthetic candy"
⚗️ Optimal Usage Methodology:
Dissolve first in DPG, ethanol, or your carrier oil — it's a solid, so pre-dissolve before blending
Warm gently to help it dissolve fully, avoid overheating
Add in small increments and smell-test as you go — it's easy to overshoot
Let the blend rest/cure for a few days — the sweetness integrates and softens rather than sitting "on top"
