TORTOISE WISDOM SERIES

🐢 TORTOISE AND THE FORBIDDEN YAM

During yam harvest, Tortoise visited the Farmer, who warned him not to touch a large yam reserved for his family.

When the Farmer left, Tortoise took and cooked it. The Farmer discovered the theft, and Tortoise’s lie was exposed.

The Farmer said, “Those who cannot control their desires lose others’ trust.”

Tortoise learned that what belongs to someone else is never yours to take.
