🇦🇷 Sergio Agüero has revealed that Lionel Messi and Lionel Scaloni clashed in the aftermath of their World Cup final defeat.
🗣️ Agüero: "I honestly didn’t like how things ended in the final with the national team, especially with Messi having a disagreement with Lionel Scaloni. Messi told me he had a clash with Scaloni over the coach’s tactics and how he handled the match.
Messi told him there was no way they could sit back and let Spain have all the ball because they were going to lose that way, but the coach still insisted on playing a low block while waiting for a counter.
I mean, who the hell goes against the words of the greatest player in the world? Messi sees the game differently, but the coach was too full of pride to follow his advice."

Kylian Mbappé continues to rewrite FIFA World Cup history! 🇫🇷👑
The French superstar has shattered his own personal record for goals scored in a single World Cup tournament. What started as an impressive breakout in Russia has now evolved into outright dominance:
1. 2018 (age 19): 4 goals — helped France lift the trophy.
2. 2022: 8 goals — a sensational haul that already made him one of the youngest to reach such heights.
3. 2026: 10 goals and counting ⭐ — a new personal best that puts him firmly in legendary territory
With this latest milestone, Mbappé has extended his commanding lead in the 2026 Golden Boot race, showcasing clinical finishing, blistering pace, and relentless pressure on opposition defenses throughout the tournament.
At this rate, the only realistic chance for Lionel Messi to catch up would require a dramatic double (or more) in the remaining matches — a tall order even for the Argentine maestro. 🤦♂️🔥
Mbappé is not just chasing records — he’s building a legacy as one of the greatest World Cup performers of all time.

The 2026 Ballon D'Or shouldn't be awarded.
Of course, it will be. And in truth, I have nothing against it: let's give our stars a grand gala night and celebrate their talent. Let's discuss, dissect, debate.
Let's crown a hero. But this season again, football has taken a path that honors it. By crowning the best teams, it has championed its unique character. By rewarding the best ideas, it has reinforced its identity. It has reminded us of the true reasons for its beauty.
So, obviously, whoever lifts the little Ballon d’Or in London at the end of October will be deserving. So many are. But today, more than ever, this award is antithetical to the very nature of our sport.
That's a good thing. Let's celebrate it!.
In 2010, Sneijder wins the Champions League, Iniesta wins the World Cup, but Messi wins the Ballon d'Or because he has more goals.
In 2011, Ronaldo scores more goals than Messi, but this time Messi wins the Ballon D'Or because the Champions League is more important.
In 2012, Ronaldo wins more trophies than Messi, but the rule changes again in Messi's favor because he has more goals.
In 2019, Salah and Van Dijk have a fantastic Champions League season, Alisson Becker wins both the Champions League and the Copa America, but the award goes to Messi again based on goal count.
In 2021, the rule changes again; Lewandowski leads in goals, but the award goes to Messi because he won the Copa America.
In 2023, the World Cup, which was unimportant in 2010, gains importance, and the Ballon d'Or goes to Messi instead of Haaland, who won both the Premier League and the Champions League with Manchester City.
In 2026...⏳
People keep saying Mbappé doesn’t deserve the Ballon d’Or because he didn’t win trophies this season.
Lionel Messi won the 2014 World Cup Golden Ball despite recording 0 goals and 1 assist in the knockout stage while not winning the World Cup.
Kylian Mbappé has 6 goals and 2 assists in the 2026 knockout stage.
I don’t see why he can’t win the Ballon d’Or .
Kylian Mbappé has 6 goals and 2 assists in the 2026 knockout stage.
I don’t see why he can’t win the Ballon d’Or.
But isn’t one of the main Ballon d’Or criteria individual performance?
Now tell me, which player of this generation has won the World Cup golden boot back-to-back, while also finishing as the champions league top scorer and La Liga top scorer in the same season?
These are historic individual achievements. Even some of football’s greatest legends like Pele never won the World Cup golden boot not to mention winning it back-to-back.
Messi was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the 2010 World Cup after a 4-0 defeat to Germany. He didn't score a single goal in the entire tournament. Even so, he was awarded the Ballon d’Or, based on his statistics in the Spanish league.
In 2023, the criteria changed: they said the World Cup performance should outweigh everything else, and with that argument, they gave him the Ballon d’Or over Haaland's extraordinary season.
Now they want to repeat history.
With just 12 goals in MLS, they're already promoting his candidacy, arguing that he had a great World Cup.
The criteria change to suit Messi.
There are the cases of Lewandowski, Haaland, Van Dijk, Sneijder, and Mbappé, as examples of footballers who have been affected by Messi's dominance. Bonus:
In 2014, he also received the Golden Ball despite not scoring a single goal in the knockout stages. Thomas Müller scored 5 goals, including one in the semifinals, as well as an assist.
James Rodríguez finished as top scorer with 6 goals and, for many, was the best player of the tournament.
I maintain: Messi is the most favored footballer in history.
And he will carry that stigma for the rest of his life, even if it pains many.
Cristiano Ronaldo is like a parent to me. The love I have for him is unconditional.
I don’t care how many trophies others win, how many Ballons d’Or they collect, or how many people try to rewrite history.
I’ll never trade him for anyone.
I watched him turn impossible nights into unforgettable memories. I watched him inspire millions to dream bigger, work harder, and never give up.
To me, Cristiano isn’t just the GOAT because of the records or the goals.
He’s the greatest to ever grace the game because of what he represents.
Players come and go. Legends retire. But my loyalty to Cristiano Ronaldo will never change. Until my last breath, he’ll always be my GOAT. 🐐❤️
Do not allow Messi fans Gaslight you using"most trophies and individual honors" as a Metric for the GOAT debate 😂
Up until 2025, Dani Alves had the highest number of trophies won, nobody referred to him as the undisputed GOAT of football.
Before Messi and Ronaldo, Michel Platini was the untouchable king with his consecutive Ballon d'Ors.
No one referred to him as the GOAT of football because he had most ballon D’or.
It is pure, unadulterated recency bias.
The second Messi statistically catches up, the goalposts magically shift.
The same way they invented Knock out Goals that wasn’t a metric in 2010 World Cup when he had zero knock out goal, the same way International trophy doesn’t matter to be the GoAT but immediately he has one, it suddenly matters.
Let’s never forget how they started using Goal and Assist as a metric since Ronaldo started having more Goals.
No allow them Gaslight you.
Viva Ronaldo.
Siuuuuuu.

🚨🗣 Vozinha on who he'd like to see win the World Cup following Cape Verde's elimination:
“For me It's Portugal. The bond between Cape Verde and Portugal has always been special, so they’ll have my support for the rest of the tournament.
And naturally, I’ll be rooting for Cristiano Ronaldo. His legacy speaks for itself. He has inspired generations, changed football forever, and continues to lead by example through his passion and dedication. He's the GREATEST. 🐐
I’d love to see him lift the World Cup with Portugal. It would be the perfect ending to an extraordinary career.” 🇨🇻❤️🇵🇹

For me he is the best Goalkeeper of this World Cup.....
He came to the World Cup as a 40-year-old, clubless keeper with 50,000 followers and zero expectations.
He’s leaving with 18.8 MILLION followers, 18 saves vs Messi, Spain, and Saudi, 2 clean sheets, 1 MOTM
Vozinha. A Legend. 👑
