"The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them." Psalm 34:7.
One of the greatest gifts you can give your children is not just your protection, but teaching them to trust in God's protection. You can't be with them every moment, in school, on the playground, on the road or as they grow into adulthood, but God can.
Raise children who know how to pray, honour God and depend on Him. When they learn to fear the Lord and walk in His ways, they carry the assurance that His presence surrounds them even when you're not there.
A praying parent not only prepares a child for a world they cannot always control, but a God who never leaves them.
Keep covering your children with prayer. God's protection reaches where your hands cannot.

"I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:18
Your home is the first church your children will ever know.
The world is fighting for their hearts, minds and values every day. As parents, we cannot afford to be passive. Build your home on God's Word, cover your children in prayer, and intentionally model the life you want them to live.
When Christ is the foundation of your family, no challenge, temptation or darkness has the final say. God's promise still stands, what He builds cannot be destroyed.
Today, don't just provide for your children...
Build them spiritually.
Love them intentionally, and
Lead them faithfully.

Don't Make Your Home Feel Like a Courtroom.
Some children are not rebellious, they're simply tired.
Tired of being corrected every time they speak.
Tired of never hearing, "Well done."
Tired of feeling like nothing they do is ever good enough.
Imagine living in a home where every conversation ends with a complaint, a comparison, or a correction. Even as adults, we'd struggle in such an environment.
Yes, children need discipline. But they also need encouragement.
Correct them when necessary, but don't forget to celebrate their efforts. Praise good behavior just as intentionally as you correct bad behavior. A child who feels valued at home is more likely to grow in confidence, responsibility, and emotional security.
Let your home be a place where your children are not afraid to make mistakes because they know they are deeply loved, even while they are being corrected.
"Fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." — Ephesians 6:4.

When was the last time you prayed over your marriage the way you pray over everything else?
I know that may sound strange. I know you pray for your kids. I know you pray over your finances when things get tight and your health when something comes back that scared you and your home when the atmosphere feels heavy. I know you are a praying woman/Man. But I want to ask you something honest today and I want you to sit with the answer before you keep scrolling.
When did you last lay your hand on your wife/husband while she/he was sleeping and ask God to cover him/her the way you cover your children? When did you last stand in your bedroom, the room where your marriage lives, and declare out loud what is allowed in that relationship and what is not? When did you last pray over your marriage with the same urgency and the same faith and the same holy desperation that you pray over everything else you are believing God for?
For most women/men the honest answer is that the marriage gets the leftover prayers. The ones that come after everything else has been covered. The quick ones at the end of a long list. And sometimes, if the marriage has been hard enough for long enough, the prayers over it has stopped altogether because it hurts too much to keep believing for something that does not seem to be moving.
But here is what I know after watching marriages fall apart in people who prayed for everything except each other. The enemy does not work hardest on what you guard the most. He works hardest on what you leave uncovered. And one of the most consistently uncovered things in a believing man/woman's home is their own marriage.
Your marriage is not too far gone to pray over. Your wife/husband is not too closed off to cover. The distance between you is not too wide to declare across. You do not need him/her to be in a spiritual place to pray over your marriage. You just need to be in one.
So tonight, after the house gets quiet, I want you to go stand in your bedroom before you lie down and say this out loud.
"God, I cover my marriage. I cover my wife/husband, every part of her/him I can see and every part I cannot. I cover the distance between us, the things we have not said, the hurts we have not healed. I am not giving up on what You put together. I am standing in this room and declaring that my marriage belongs to You and the enemy does not get to have it. Not tonight. Not ever."
Go pray over your marriage today. It is the most covered it has been in a long time.
YES, you are better than you know... Keep believing in yourself.
