🤎 LET’S TALK ABOUT VENDORS USING OTHER PEOPLE’S HAIR PICTURES 🤎
Let’s be honest most vendors, including me, have probably been guilty of using pictures that are not originally ours. 😂
There’s nothing wrong with using a reference picture when you’re selling a particular style.
But please, if you’re going to use somebody else’s picture, let the hair you’re selling actually look like what you posted.
Don’t take somebody’s ₦200,000+ luxury raw hair, post it as your own ₦35,000 Chinese bob, and expect customers to believe that is what they will receive.
That one no make sense. 😭
Look at this particular picture.
This is Gracie Hairline’s raw donor hair—a luxury hairline many of you have probably seen online.
From what I know, this particular type of hair is sold for ₦200,000 and above, depending on the specifications, and it is made with a substantial amount of raw donor hair.
Then I saw someone use this same type of picture to advertise:
“8-inch Chinese Bone Straight Chin Bob — ₦35,000.” 😳
Excuse me… what exactly are we doing?
The hair in the picture doesn’t even represent an ordinary Chinese bob.
It is raw donor-quality hair, yet you are using the picture to advertise a completely different product at a drastically lower price.
PLEASE, LET’S DO BETTER. 🤎
If you are selling a ₦35,000 Chinese bob, post the actual Chinese bob you are selling.
If it is ₦40,000, post that actual hair.
If it is ₦50,000, show your customer what ₦50,000 gets them.
Don’t use a luxury hair picture to make a budget hair look like something it isn’t.
Because when the customer receives the hair and it doesn’t look anything like the picture, who gets blamed?
The vendors.
And then customers start saying:
“All hair vendors are scammers.”
No.
There are genuine vendors selling different grades and qualities of hair at different prices.
The problem is misrepresentation.
You can sell Chinese hair.
You can sell Vietnamese hair.
You can sell raw donor hair.
You can sell affordable wigs.
Just show people exactly what they are paying for.
And honestly, even if you are using a supplier’s picture, make sure the picture represents the same quality, texture, construction and general product you are offering.
Don’t downgrade somebody else’s luxury hair with your own product. 😂
Your customer deserves to know exactly what they are buying.
SELL WHAT YOU SHOW. SHOW WHAT YOU SELL. 🤎
That is how we build trust in this business.
🤎 LET’S TALK ABOUT BABY HAIR & HAIR MAINTENANCE 🤎
Let me give you an example.
You give birth to a baby, and that baby comes into the world with beautiful, silky hair. Some babies are born with soft, coily hair.
Whatever texture that baby has, the hair still needs proper care.
If you don’t use the right products, wash it properly, gently comb it, moisturize it and take care of the scalp, give it a few months and you may start asking:
“Wait o… was this the same hair this baby was born with?” 😂
The hair didn’t suddenly become bad.
It simply wasn’t properly maintained.
That is exactly how you should look at your expensive wig.
You bought beautiful Bone Straight, Bounce, Babythin, Deep Wave or Raw Hair.
Please, don’t wear it and abandon it. 😭
When your cornrows are due for a redo — redo them.
When your Bounce loses its definition — restyle it.
When your hair needs washing and treatment — take it for proper maintenance.
But please, don’t take expensive hair to just anybody. 🙏🏽
This is where many people make mistakes.
I know a stylist in Owerri who is actually very good at styling hair. One day, I went to his shop because I wanted to see the products he was using.
Honestly, I was shocked.
The styling skills were there, but the products were too cheap for the quality of hair his customers were bringing.
Imagine using ordinary, low-quality gel and products on premium raw hair.
I told him:
“These products are too cheap for expensive hair.”
And his response was basically:
“Na wetin customer pay for.” 😭
NO!
Your stylist’s job is not just to style your hair.
They should also understand the hair they are handling.
You cannot spend hundreds of thousands of naira on quality hair and then allow someone to use unsuitable products that can cause buildup, dryness, tangling and damage.
🤎 PLEASE, INVEST IN QUALITY PRODUCTS.
Your hair is an investment.
Quality hair + quality products + proper maintenance = beautiful, long-lasting hair.
So please, don’t only ask:
“How much is maintenance?”
Ask:
“What products do you use on my hair?”
Because sometimes, the cheapest maintenance can become the most expensive mistake. 🤎
Take care of your hair.
Feed it.
Maintain it.
Love it.
✨ QUALITY HAIR STILL NEEDS QUALITY MAINTENANCE. ✨
💇🏽♀️ DIFFERENT HAIR, DIFFERENT CARE
Bone Straight: Needs proper washing, treatment, straightening and styling.
Bounce: Needs treatment and restyling to bring back the bounce.
Deep Wave: Needs proper washing, conditioning and curl restoration.
⚠️ PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH STYLISTS!
Don’t take your expensive hair to just anybody.
Avoid stylists who use cheap or unsuitable products on premium hair.
You can spend hundreds of thousands on hair and then ruin it because of poor maintenance.
That ₦10k or ₦20k maintenance can actually save your expensive hair.
And please, ask what products your stylist uses.
Quality hair deserves quality products and proper handling.
If you need a trusted hair maintenance or revamp stylist in your area, send me a DM. I can recommend people I trust. 🤎
Your hair is an investment.
Feed it.
Maintain it.
Treat it well.
Love it. 🤎
DON’T BUY EXPENSIVE HAIR AND ABANDON IT.
✨ QUALITY HAIR STILL NEEDS QUALITY MAINTENANCE! ✨

🗓️ HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU MAINTAIN IT?
It depends on how often you wear it:
✨ Every 2 weeks — if you wear it frequently
✨ Every month — for regular wear
✨ Every 2–3 months — if you wear it occasionally
Please, don’t wait until the hair is completely damaged.
Since today is Saturday, check your wig collection. 🤎
If you have wigs that are 3–6 months old, take them for professional maintenance and revamping.

🤎 PLEASE, MAINTAIN YOUR HAIR! 🤎
Let me say this again:
No matter how expensive your hair is, if you don’t maintain it, you will eventually think the hair is fake. 😂
You can buy hair for ₦1 million, ₦2 million or even ₦3 million.
When it arrives, it is:
✨ Silky
✨ Soft
✨ Beautiful
✨ Bouncy
But remember, hair needs care just like your natural hair.
Especially our Vietnamese hair. It is human hair and deserves proper care, love and the right products. 🤎
