TRUE LIFE STORY (PART 1)

Before you judge this woman, listen carefully.

A woman got married to a hardworking man. Together, they built a successful business from the ground up.

As the money started coming in, her brothers and sisters would sometimes call her for help.

But her answer was always the same:

"No. That money belongs to my husband. We are building our future. I don't want to touch my husband's money."

Years passed, and she remained firm in her decision.

She believed she was protecting her marriage and helping her husband's business grow.

One of the biggest mistakes people make in relationships is believing they can change somebody after marriage. Let me tell you something today: marriage does not change character. It reveals character.

"You know this man loves clubbing.

You know he drinks every weekend.

You know he cheats on every woman he dates.

Yet you say, 'When I marry him, I will change him.'

How?

Did he tell you he wants to change?

Or did you just create that hope in your mind?

The same thing applies to men.

You know this woman loves expensive things.

You know she enjoys a luxury lifestyle.

You know she spends money freely.

Yet you say, 'When she becomes my wife, she will stop.'

Why?

What makes you think marriage will suddenly change her?

People are not machines.

People are not furniture.

People are not houses you renovate.

A person changes only when they decide to change.

If somebody is a traditionalist today, don't marry them hoping to force them into your religion tomorrow.

If somebody doesn't attend church today, don't marry them expecting them to become a church worker next month.

If somebody has habits you cannot tolerate, don't enter marriage hoping to fix them later.

Ask yourself one question:

If this person never changes, can I still live with them?

If your answer is no, then think carefully before taking that step.

Because marriage is not a rehabilitation center.

Choose a partner whose character you can accept today.

If they improve tomorrow, that's a blessing.

But don't build your future on a change that may never come.
