🇳🇬 Benue's Ziko De Hero Announces Guinness World Record Marathon Attempt

Benue State-born athlete Ziko De Hero has officially announced his attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the Fastest Marathon Run While Dressed in Traditional Nigerian Attire, scheduled for October 31, 2026.

According to Ziko, the record attempt will be organized under the supervision of the national athletics body, as required by Guinness World Records. While similar records have been attempted during major international marathons such as London, Toronto, and New York, he has chosen to stage his attempt in Nigeria with the required national oversight.
