Birthday Party Theme: 🎀Pink Princess vs 💎Blue Prince

One thing I love about simple party decorations is that they don't have to be expensive to look beautiful.

For this setup, we used:
1. Backdrop draping
2. Balloon garland as the focal point
3. Cake & dessert table styling
4. Matching colour theme throughout the setup

The Pink Princess theme creates a soft, dreamy and cheerful atmosphere for little girls, while the Blue & Gold theme gives a clean, elegant and royal look for boys.

My advice when planning a birthday party:
• Choose ONE colour theme only
• Focus on a beautiful backdrop for photos
• Keep the dessert table simple and neat
• Use balloons strategically instead of filling the entire venue
• Spend on memories, not unnecessary extras

BASIC ITEMS FOR SIMPLE ENGAGEMENT SETUP

I realised I love planning long before I even noticed it myself.

Years ago, I got the opportunity to lead our company welfare club and organise our annual dinner. That was probably the first time I truly enjoyed planning something from start to finish. And somehow… it continued through the years.

Not just at work, but also with family gatherings, birthdays, small celebrations, engagement, wedding setups and meaningful moments with people I love.

I realised I genuinely enjoy turning simple spaces into something warm and beautiful.

So if you’re planning your own engagement setup (or even a small party at home), these are some basic items I personally think will help you. Plan early so that you can plan your budget.
