As I get ready to turn 30, I’ve found myself looking back at the last decade.

My twenties changed me in more ways than I could ever have imagined.

They started in a place I never thought I’d escape. I lost parts of myself, questioned my worth, and spent time rebuilding from things I never expected to go through.

But they also became the decade where I found myself again.

Different homes. Different careers. Countless competitions. Big risks. Bigger dreams. Building businesses. Chasing goals that once felt impossible. Becoming someone I’m genuinely proud of.

And through almost all of that journey… there’s been him. ⬆️🤍

We’ve grown up together. We’ve celebrated the highs, held each other through the lows, travelled, laughed until we cried, and somehow always found our way back to being a team.

We aren’t the same people we were when we met and that’s probably the best part. We’ve challenged each other, supported each other, and given each other the space to become who we’re meant to be.

If my twenties have taught me anything, it’s that healing is possible, growth is messy continual process, and success means very little if you don’t have someone to share it with.

Thank you for being the safest place I’ve ever known.

Here’s to everything our twenties gave us… and everything our thirties still have to offer. ❤️ Dan Tai
