-고 있다 (Present Progressive Tense – "is doing")
Korean: 저는 밥을 먹고 있어요.
English: I am eating.
2. -았/었어요 (Past Tense – "did")
Korean: 어제 영화를 봤어요.
English: I watched a movie yesterday.
3. -(으)ㄹ 거예요 (Future Tense – "will do")
Korean: 내일 공부할 거예요.
English: I will study tomorrow.
4. -지 마세요 (Negative Command – "don’t")
Korean: 여기서 사진 찍지 마세요.
English: Don’t take pictures here.
5. -고 싶어요 (Want to do something)
Korean: 일본에 가고 싶어요.
English: I want to go to Japan.
6. -을 수 있어요 (Can do something)
Korean: 저는 운전할 수 있어요.
English: I can drive.
7. -아/어 주세요 (Please do something)
Korean: 문 좀 열어 주세요.
English: Please open the door.
8. -지 않아요 (Negative Statement – "don’t")
Korean: 저는 커피를 마시지 않아요.
English: I don’t drink coffee.
9. -아/어서 (Because / So)
Korean: 배가 아파서 병원에 갔어요.
English: I went to the hospital because I had a stomachache.
10. -은/는 (Topic Marker – "as for")
Korean: 저는 학생이에요.
English: As for me, I am a student.
