✨ New month, new commitment- and it’s never too late for your hair. The best time to start caring again …… is right now.
In this Reel, I’m sharing the initial stages of a client who came back to regain her hair health after some neglect and rough home experiments. You know the feeling-when your hair starts to look tired, dry, or act “stiff” with excessive shedding.
But here’s what we’re really talking about:
✨Knowing when you’re going too far with harsh styling-too much tension, trendy installs too often, product overload, skipping thorough cleansing and nourishment or pushing your hair when it’s asking for rest.
❤️ I’II say this with love: I’m not afraid to take the challenge.
Sometimes that means we correct what’s been damaged, we calm the stress on the hair and apply efforts to counteract the errors. Other times we have to start from scratch and rebuild healthy foundations—not just cover up the problem.
✨ I also want you to remember this:
You don’t have to stay off track forever.
I encourage you to get back on the wagon-because even if you’ve been inconsistent, you can still heal with the right care and the right plan.
🌱So as we step into a new month... let this be your sign:
Take the steps to bring your hair back to health and beauty with confidence
Relaxers with routine✨ In this reel we’re doing a Relaxer Root Touch Up for a client who maintains a strong hair care routine. Her routine includes careful root touch ups, protein balance and moisture locking nourishment with gentle light weight styling keeping texture consistent and manageable.
Staying on track brings us closer to her hair health goals at every visit in an easy to manage way that keeps her enjoying the hair care journey.
Creative license, healthy hair, bold colour- three essentials of a fearless transformation.
✨ Hello June - healthy hair goals are still in full bloom.✨
Healthy relaxed hair does not happen overnight. It takes patience, the right routine, regular treatments, careful relaxing, trims when needed and a commitment to caring for the hair between appointments. We’ve come along way and I’m so proud of the progress we’ve maintained ❤️
Here’s to a new month of healthy hair growth and beautiful progress ✨
Healthy relaxed hair starts with a proper plan - and a great conversation😄
This Mother’s Day, I’m celebrating the truth about moms: we often leave ourselves a little undone to keep everyone else looking sharp. After a full week behind the chair of styling everyone else, my own hair got a simple tie - enough to get me to church and remind me “we rise above it all”. Moms are resourceful; we find a way to look our best no matter what we’ve faced. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms making it look easy when it’s not. You’re seen. You’re enough

Snip, snip, hurray! Trims that care for health and style✂️
I’m a hair- care specialist who loves my scissors because they’re health tools as much as styling tools. Trimming is a core part of keeping Afro- textured hair healthy. It’s about preserving hair health by removing damage and balancing porosity. When I cut, I’m supporting the structure of the hair so it can hold moisture and shine long after you leave my chair. Yes, cuts are also a powerful part of styling. They can refresh texture and make your chosen look easier to manage.
I tailor how much to cut for each client. A “ light dusting“ removes the most damaged ends, regular trims every 6-10 weeks help maintain health and more substantial trims may be needed if there’s extensive damage. Each cut is performed with care to protect the cuticle and keep your texture intact, so you are left with healthy and beautifully styled hair.
So that settles it - I’m happy with healthy hair!!!
Colour opportunities shine brightest when the foundation is healthy. Here we celebrate neon pink ombré on relaxed hair. A bold look that’s stays beautiful when done with care. The foundation is a well- maintained relaxed-care routine: moisture- first, balanced protein, light controlled chemical processing and a gentle lightening approach that lets the pink glow without compromising health.
With proper after care, her color will remain bright and hair care remains the priority.
This reel captures our client’s journey from breakage and neglect to a bold, fresh start. She had major damage and hair loss along her hairline, with uneven texture and low growth from years of harsh styling. At the initial visit, we addressed past flaws with a Reconstructive Relaxer, followed by our moisture and protein- balancing treatment and a pixie cut styled with a roller set for a heat- smart low maintenance look.
Choosing this cut that conceals damage and works well with her fine texture was a deliberate step toward a healthier routine. This is about more than a big chop, it’s a bold moment for any woman to prioritize how she wants to feel and be seen. To invest in hair care that honours her health, time and identity. Our goal is to ease her into a routine that supports growth, reduces stress on the hair and still feels empowering.
Moving forward, the plan centers on consistent moisture- first care , regular treatments and gentle styling the fits her lifestyle. It’s a reminder that fresh starts can lead to meaningful change. Healthier hair, more manageability and renewed confidence. As the music says “ I celebrate me” _ Here’s to celebrating you and your journey to great hair and wellbeing.
Not every hair needs a Virgin Relaxer. If you are unsure we’ll guide you step by step to decide the best path for your health, texture and goals.
