❤️ 3 Heart Readings That Could Save Your Life

Most people know their weight. Very few know these 3 life-saving heart numbers.

🫀 Normal (Resting) Heart Rate – A window into your everyday heart health.

🔥 Maximum Heart Rate – Helps you exercise safely and effectively.

💚 Heart Recovery Rate – How quickly your heart rate drops after exercise. A faster recovery often reflects a healthier, fitter heart.

These three readings can detect changes early, guide your fitness, and help protect your heart before problems become serious.

Know your numbers. Track them regularly. Your heart may thank you with a longer, healthier life. ❤️

Your heart deserves more than just a cholesterol check!

These 5 blood tests can help you monitor your heart health and identify hidden risks early:

🩸 Triglycerides
🩸 VLDL (Very Low-Density Lipoprotein)
🩸 HbA1c (Blood Sugar Control)
🩸 hs-CRP (Inflammation Marker)
🩸 Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] (Genetic Heart Risk)

As I highlighted in my previous video, it's also important to regularly check your Vitamin B12 and homocysteine levels.

Early detection = Better prevention.

📌 Save this reel for your next health check-up.👨‍⚕️ Share it with someone who cares about their heart.

Young, fit, yet heart attacks? 💔
Not all heart risks show on the outside.
An often-ignored marker.

👉 High homocysteine + Low B12 = Silent danger.

Know your numbers. Protect your heart. 🫀.

VISCERAL FAT: WHY IT MATTER

Visceral fat surrounds vital organs and is strongly associated with serious health conditions, including:

Type 2 diabetes

Heart disease

Fatty liver disease

Hormonal imbalance

Chronic inflammation

⚠️ Importantly, even people with a normal BMI can have dangerous levels of visceral fat—a condition often referred to as “normal-weight obesity” or “thin outside, fat inside (TOFI)”.

5 Key Indicators of Excess Visceral Fat
(Even if your body weight looks normal)

1. High Waist Circumference
Indicates fat accumulation around abdominal organs.

Risk thresholds:

Men: > 40 inches

Women: > 35 inches

2. High Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR)
Reflects central (abdominal) fat distribution, which is more metabolically harmful than peripheral fat.

3. Elevated Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) or HbA1c
Visceral fat increases insulin resistance and impairs glucose control.

Concerning values:

FBS: ≥ 100 mg/dL

HbA1c: ≥ 5.7%

4. High Triglycerides
Strongly linked to visceral fat and metabolic syndrome.

≥ 150 mg/dL is considered elevated

5. High Blood Pressure
Visceral fat promotes inflammation and hormonal changes that affect blood pressure regulation.

≥ 130/85 mmHg raises concern

✅ What Helps Reduce Visceral Fat
Strength training combined with regular cardio

Protein-rich, fiber-dense diet

Reduce refined carbohydrates and added sugars

Manage stress and prioritize quality sleep

Periodic metabolic health testing (glucose, lipids, BP)
