From sun-kissed vineyards to family tables, grapes have been woven into the story of Palestine for thousands of years. 🍇
More than just a fruit, they represent resilience, abundance, and tradition. They nourish communities as fresh harvests, become the rich sweetness of dibs (grape molasses), and their tender leaves are transformed into the beloved Waraq Dawali a dish that brings generations together.
Every grape tells a story of the land, its people, and a heritage lovingly preserved through time.

Sweet on the inside, protected by thorns, Saber has long been part of Palestine's landscape. For generations, prickly pear cacti have lined orchards, marked village boundaries, and offered a refreshing summer harvest for families across the land.
But Sabr is more than a fruit. Its name means "patience" in Arabic, and its ability to flourish in the harshest conditions has made it a lasting symbol of resilience, steadfastness, and hope.
Like Tatreez, Sabr tells a story of Palestine one rooted in the land, carried through generations, and enduring through time. 🤍🌿

Rooted deep in the Palestinian landscape, the Saber (صبر), or prickly pear cactus, is more than a plant it is a symbol of resilience, endurance, and unwavering hope.
Growing effortlessly through changing seasons, the prickly pear has long stood beside Palestinian homes and fields, often marking village boundaries and remaining even when communities were displaced. Its ability to thrive in the harshest conditions made it a natural emblem of sabr, the Arabic word for patience.
When stitched into tatreez, the Saber motif honors generations who have remained steadfast, carrying their heritage forward with strength and dignity.
Every embroidered motif tells a story, preserving not only the beauty of Palestinian craftsmanship but also the memories, values, and resilience woven into every thread.

One of the oldest and most recognizable motifs in Palestinian Tatreez, Al Saleeb (The Cross) is far more than a geometric design. Found across traditional embroidery from several regions of Palestine, it represents faith, protection, balance, and the interconnectedness of life. Over generations, artisans have stitched this motif as a symbol of resilience and continuity, preserving both cultural and spiritual traditions through embroidery.
Our Walid Tote Bag thoughtfully incorporates the Al Saleeb motif, bringing this centuries-old design into a modern, everyday essential. Hand-embroidered by Palestinian women artisans, the tote transforms a traditional motif into a functional piece you can carry every day, connecting heritage with contemporary living.
