Bone broth and stock are not the same thing… despite both looking like brown water. 😂
They may sit beside each other on the shelf—and both can transform a meal—but they’re generally made for slightly different jobs.
🍲 Stock is your flavour hero. Use it to add depth to soups, stews, sauces, gravies and everyday cooking.
🦴 Bone broth is usually simmered for longer and may contain more protein and collagen-derived amino acids. It can be used in cooking or enjoyed warm as a nourishing drink.
But—and this matters—not every carton with bone broth written on the front is automatically wonderful.
Turn it around and check:
✅ How much protein does it contain?
✅ Are bones clearly listed?
✅ Is the ingredient list short and recognisable?
✅ Is it free from unnecessary sugar and additives?
✅ How much salt is in one serving?
Bone broth can be a useful source of protein and amino acids, but it isn’t a magic potion that will instantly erase wrinkles, rebuild every joint and sort your entire digestive system before lunch. If only. 😂
Your body also needs vitamin C, zinc, copper and enough overall protein to make and maintain its own collagen—so the rest of your diet still matters.
The no-nonsense answer?
Choose stock for flavour. Choose a quality bone broth for extra nourishment and protein. Make your own when you can. And always read the actual label—not just the claims on the front.
Different purpose.
Different benefits.
Both can have a place.
Swipe through for the simple breakdown, then tell us: stock, bone broth or homemade?
Save this for your next supermarket trip—and send it to the friend currently paying a small fortune for fashionable gravy. 😏

Your 9pm cravings may have started at breakfast… 👀
Ever find yourself rummaging through the cupboards at night, convinced you need something sweet, salty—or preferably both?
It might not be a lack of willpower.
What you eat—and don’t eat—earlier in the day can have a huge impact on how hungry and snacky you feel at night.
Perhaps your day looked like this:
☕ Breakfast was mostly coffee
🥐 Lunch was rushed, light or skipped
🍪 You left long gaps between meals
🥗 Your meals lacked protein, fibre or healthy fats
🍽️ You ate very little because you were trying to “be good”
Then 9pm arrives…and your body wants paying back. 😂
When you’re tired, stressed and running on empty, your brain doesn’t usually request a beautifully balanced salad. It wants quick energy—and the biscuits are right there.
The answer isn’t banning evening snacks or finding more willpower. It’s looking at the whole day:
✅ Eat a proper, balanced breakfast
✅ Include protein, fibre and healthy fats
✅ Avoid leaving enormous gaps between meals
✅ Eat enough during the day
✅ Notice whether hunger, tiredness, stress or habit is driving the craving
Your nighttime cravings don’t happen in isolation.
They may be the result of what happened at 8am, 1pm…and everything in between.
So before blaming yourself for having “no willpower”, ask:
Have I actually fuelled my body properly today?
Save this for the next time the kitchen starts calling after dinner. 😂
And tag the friend who is “absolutely fine all day”…then turns into a snack detective at night.

Turns out, timing really is everything… even in a saucepan. 😂
Ever thrown everything into the pot, turned up the heat and hoped for the best?
Same. But when food goes into the water can make the difference between:
🥔 Potatoes cooked evenly—or soft outside and solid in the middle
🍝 Pasta with a proper bite—or something resembling wallpaper paste
🥦 Bright, crisp vegetables—or sad, soggy greenery
🥚 Eggs that stay intact—or crack before breakfast has even begun
A simple rule of thumb:
💧 Start in cold water: potatoes, eggs and dried pulses
🔥 Add to boiling water: pasta, most rice, sweetcorn and vegetables
🥬 Leafy greens: boiling water—but only briefly
🧂 Salt: once the water is boiling, before adding your food
These little cooking details might seem insignificant, but they protect flavour, colour, texture—and often the nutrients too.
No expensive gadgets. No chef qualifications. Just knowing what goes into the pot… and when.
Save this before your next “it’ll probably be grand” cooking moment. 😂
And tag the friend whose vegetables are always just a little too soft…

DAY 7 — you’ve done the Reset. Now please don’t “finish” it. 😉🌿
Seven days of our September Reset and hopefully you’ve realised something really important:
Eating well doesn’t need to be a project.
You don’t need to detox. You don’t need to live on salads. You don’t need to count every mouthful. And you definitely don’t need to start another diet on Monday.
What you can do is keep the bits that worked. ❤️
🥦 Keep adding vegetables to your meals 🌈 Keep eating plenty of colour and variety 💪 Keep building satisfying meals 🍓 Keep choosing real food more often 🍋 Keep cooking simply and making food taste GOOD 🥑 And keep adapting it to fit your actual life
Because Day 7 isn’t the finish line.
This week was about giving you a really good foundation — showing you what a week of simple, varied, nourishing food can actually look like.
But this is where Breaking Fads goes a step further.
We don’t believe every woman should eat exactly the same way.
Nikki, Kate, Maya, Lilly and Jess have different Bodytype needs — and understanding yours can help you tailor those good foundations to your body, your appetite and your lifestyle.
So carry on using these recipes. Repeat your favourites. Mix the days up. Make them your own.
And if you’re ready to move from “healthy eating” to eating specifically for YOUR Bodytype, come and have a look at our Breaking Fads programme. 🍉
👉 Follow for more practical, no-nonsense nutrition and recipes. 👉 Comment RESET if you still need the full 7-day plan. 👉 Take the Bodytype quiz and find out which of our five women is most like you.
The Reset might be finished. Your good habits don’t have to be. ❤️

Caption day 6
DAY 6 — notice what we haven’t asked you to do this week… 👀
No calorie counting. No weighing yourself every morning. No cutting out entire food groups. No shakes, bars or “diet” products. And no going hungry. 🙌
Instead, our September Reset has been about putting MORE of the good stuff back in.
🥦 More vegetables 🌈 More colour and variety 🌿 More fibre 💪 Good sources of protein 🥑 Healthy fats 🍋 Fresh ingredients and loads of flavour
And hopefully by Day 6 you’re beginning to realise…
Eating well really doesn’t need to be that complicated.
For nearly 20 years, we’ve worked with women trying to undo years of confusing diet advice — eat this, avoid that, count this, weigh that, start Monday.
We’d rather bring it back to basics.
Eat proper food. Eat plenty of plants. Make meals satisfying. And make it fit YOUR life.
Because you don’t need seven perfect days to change your health or your weight.
You need habits that are simple enough to still be doing when nobody is calling it a Reset anymore. ❤️
And once those foundations are in place, you can start getting more specific about what works for your Bodytype — which is why you’ll see our Nikki, Kate, Maya, Lilly & Jess tweaks throughout the recipes.
Tomorrow is DAY 7 🎉 — but it’s definitely not the end.

Not sexy. Not complicated. Just proper food that works. 🍉🌿

DAY 5 — by now, this shouldn’t feel like a “diet”. And that’s exactly the point. 🙌🌿
Five days into our September Reset, and there’s something we really want you to take from this:
Healthy eating is just eating.
It doesn’t need a special name. It doesn’t need to come in a packet labelled high protein. And you certainly don’t need to spend your day wondering how many calories you’ve got left. 😵💫
It can simply be…
🥕 Plenty of colourful vegetables 🍓 Fresh fruit 🌿 Fibre-rich whole foods 🥑 Good fats 💪 Protein that keeps you satisfied 🍋 Herbs, spices and loads of flavour
Basically: proper food that tastes good.
And if five days of eating like this has you thinking, “Actually, I could keep doing this…” — GOOD.
Because we don't want you reaching Day 7 and going straight back to how you ate before.
Keep the breakfasts you loved. Repeat the easy lunches. Batch-cook the dinners. Keep making the snacks. Steal the little habits that worked.
That’s how healthy weight management becomes normal rather than another thing you’re constantly starting again.
And remember, the recipes are a great general foundation, but your body may need slightly different things — which is why we include tweaks for Nikki, Kate, Maya, Lilly and Jess throughout the plan. ❤️
Two days to go… and absolutely no need to be “good” until Sunday and start again Monday. 😉

Eat real. Feel amazing. Be you. 🍉❤️

DAY 4 — if eating well feels like hard work, you’re probably overcomplicating it. 🌿
We’re halfway through our September Reset 🙌 and this is where we want you to notice something:
You don’t need diet food. You don’t need tiny portions. And you definitely don’t need a cupboard full of products promising to make you healthier.
You need good ingredients, put together simply.
That’s exactly what Day 4 is about. ❤️
🥦 Plenty of colourful plants 🌿 Fibre to support your gut and digestion 🥑 Healthy fats to help with satisfaction 💪 Nourishing ingredients that actually keep you going 🍋 Loads of fresh flavour so healthy food never feels like a punishment
Because the easier your food is to buy, cook and enjoy, the more likely you are to keep eating this way when the Reset finishes.
And THAT is where the difference happens.
Not in seven perfect days.
But in the habits you quietly carry into week 2, week 6 and six months from now.
You’ll also find our Nikki, Kate, Maya, Lilly & Jess Bodytype tweaks on the recipes, because eating well is the foundation — but understanding what works particularly well for your body takes it further.
So today, forget perfect.
Cook something good. Sit down. Enjoy it. Carry on. 🍉

Real food. Real you. No nonsense. ❤️

DAY 3 — this is your reminder that “healthy” doesn’t have to mean hungry. 🌿
Three days into our September Reset and hopefully you’re starting to see the point…
We’re not trying to eat as little as possible. We’re trying to eat better.
More real food. More colour. More fibre. More nutrients. And meals that actually leave you feeling like you’ve eaten. 🙌
Day 3 is another full day of simple recipes designed to support energy, digestion, gut health and healthy weight management — without calorie counting or complicated diet rules.
And there’s something else we want you to notice…
How do YOU feel after different foods?
Do certain breakfasts keep you going for hours while others leave you hunting for snacks?
Do some meals make you feel energised, while others leave you wanting a nap?
Do you naturally feel better with more protein, different carbohydrates or different meal timings?
Those little clues matter.
Because we’re not all built exactly the same — which is why you’ll see our Nikki, Kate, Maya, Lilly & Jess Bodytype tweaks throughout the recipes. 🍉
The Reset gives you a brilliant foundation.
Your Bodytype helps you take it one step further.
So for today: eat the food, enjoy it and start paying attention to how your body responds. ❤️
👉 Save Day 3 so you’ve got the recipes handy. 👉 Follow — Day 4 is coming tomorrow. 👉 Comment RESET and we’ll show you how to get the full 7-day plan.
No punishment. No perfection. Just proper food and a bit more understanding of YOU. 🌿🍉

DAY 2 — breakfast that tastes like carrot cake… but actually keeps you going 🥕🤍
If breakfast usually happens somewhere between finding your keys and running out the door, this one’s for you.
Our Overnight Carrot-Cake Oats take about 5 minutes the night before — then tomorrow-you just opens the fridge and gets on with her day. 🙌
🥕 Oats + chia + flaxseed for plenty of fibre 🌰 Walnuts and seeds for healthy fats 🥛 Almond milk to make it creamy ✨ Cinnamon, nutmeg + vanilla for that proper carrot-cake flavour 🍁 Just a little maple syrup if you want the sweetness
It’s filling, nourishing and designed to help keep you satisfied through the morning — which can make it much easier to avoid the 10:30am “I need something NOW” snack hunt.
And remember: one breakfast doesn’t have to work exactly the same way for every woman.
That’s why we’ve included tweaks for Nikki, Kate, Maya, Lilly & Jess so you can start adapting the recipe to suit your Bodytype.
This is what our September Reset is about. Not eating less. Not counting everything. Not being perfect.
Just getting back to proper food, sensible habits and meals your body can actually use. ❤️
Save this one tonight so breakfast is already sorted for tomorrow.
DAY 3 is coming tomorrow 👀

DAY 1 — we’re keeping this ridiculously simple. 🌿
No detox teas. No tiny portions. No “being good”. And definitely no starting the day hungry. 😅
Day 1 of our September Reset is about getting back to what actually works: real food, plenty of plants, good protein, fibre and meals that leave you properly satisfied.
And breakfast takes all of 2 minutes. 🙌
🥣 Coconut Yoghurt, Berry & Chia Bowl
Creamy coconut or almond yoghurt, berries, chia, pumpkin seeds, walnuts and flaxseed — simple ingredients doing a LOT of heavy lifting.
You’re getting fibre for your gut, healthy fats and plant nutrients, plus a breakfast designed to keep you satisfied rather than rummaging through the cupboard an hour later.
And because one-size-fits-all nutrition isn’t really our thing, we’ve included a little tweak for each of our five Bodytypes too.
This week isn’t about eating perfectly.
It’s about reminding yourself how much better you can feel when you eat proper food consistently.
DAY 1 — you’ve got this. 🍉
