🌕🍂 THE HARVEST MOON 🍂🌕

Tonight we welcome the beautiful Harvest Moon — the Full Moon closest to the Autumn Equinox 🌕✨

The name Harvest Moon comes from a time long before electricity, when the light of the Moon was incredibly important to farmers. Around the autumn equinox, the Moon rises at a similar time for several evenings in a row, meaning there was extra natural light after sunset giving farmers more time to bring in the harvest 🌾🌕

And I think there is something rather beautiful about that symbolism.

The Harvest Moon isn't only about gathering what has grown in the fields.

It can also be a wonderful time for us to pause and think about what we have grown, what we have learnt, what we are grateful for, and what we are ready to let go of 🍂❤️

✨ A little Harvest Moon ritual for tonight: ✨

If you have crystals that you work with, tonight is a lovely opportunity to give them some attention.

🌿 Gently cleanse your crystals in whatever way is appropriate for them.

🌕 Place them somewhere safe where they can receive the light of the Full Moon.

✨ Take a few quiet moments to set an intention for yourself.

❤️ Think about something you are grateful for.

🍂 And perhaps choose something you no longer wish to carry with you into the next season.

You don't need an elaborate ritual.

Sometimes simply placing your crystals beneath the moonlight, taking a few deep breaths and allowing yourself a quiet moment of reflection is enough.

Let the Harvest Moon remind you that you, too, have seasons.

There are times for planting.

Times for growing.

Times for harvesting.

And times for simply resting and preparing for what comes next. 🌱🍂✨

So tonight, if you can, step outside for a moment.

Look up.

Take a breath.

And let yourself appreciate the beautiful Moon above you. 🌕❤️

Good morning ☕❤️

Every year around this time, I get asked a question that I find really interesting:

“Is the veil between our world and the Spirit World getting thinner as we get closer to Halloween?” 🎃👻

For me, personally, I would say no I don’t believe the veil itself becomes thinner.

I see it more as a space in between ✨

Think about the place where the ocean meets the land 🌊🌿

There is a point where the ocean ends and the land begins, but there is also that beautiful space in between. If you stand there, you are not quite in the ocean and you are not quite on the land.

You are in between.

That is how I think of the veil.

The Spirit World is always there. Our loved ones are always close, and that connection doesn't suddenly become stronger because Halloween is approaching.

But perhaps at this time of year, we become more aware.

As the evenings draw in, the world becomes a little quieter, and many people naturally turn their thoughts towards those who have passed, memories, endings, beginnings and the unseen.

Maybe we simply become a little more open to noticing what has always been around us ❤️

So, rather than saying that the veil is thinning, I prefer to think that we become more aware of the space in between.

And perhaps, sometimes, all it takes is a thought, a memory, a familiar song, a scent, or a little feeling in your heart to remind you that love doesn't simply disappear.

Our loved ones are never more than a thought away ❤️❤️

But that's just my personal view.

CARD TWO - THE INVOCATION Maiden

Goddess, through you, I remember the vast eternities of my soul.

Nut, my Goddess,

It is so beautiful, this immensity that is you. You, my sky-mother, yet maiden. From you came the stars, oh Mother of Moon and Sun.

Bring to me, dear Mother of the Night Sky and Stars, that wonder: the throes of endless awe at being a part of this universe at this time, in this moment like no other, yet joined to all - a flowing river of life moving in and out of you.

Bring me definition from the chaos of human life. Let me see the pattern, to separate and harmonise the forces that oppose peace. Let me dance between these forces of chaos and order with grace, reaching out with my whole being to embrace the fullness of this lifetime.

You, who are East, West, North and South. You, who are Above, Below and Within ... even around all, you exist; hear me now, Divine Mother.

Let me feel the cool of your sycamore trees, let me be taken into the wonder of the galaxy, and be reminded that our home is beyond this earth. And if there are origins for me of stars and cosmos yet unnamed, let me remember them to live this human life with more gratitude and wisdom.

Let me have power within my own life, make my own mistakes, see the immensity of time instead of always meeting the demands of that which is most close, most immediate. Let me breathe expansively, and let my mind be free of the flow of worry that pollutes my days.

You, who are Coverer of the Sky - who the stars reach out to touch, for you are their mother. Let me be moved by you.

Protect me, Star Mother. Stretch yourself over me so I become as the imperishable stars that dwell within you.

Bring to me the breath of life, the water of Heaven, and the peace of your dance between all forces. Blessed Nut, everything is held between your two hands.

Let me be infinite in my understanding, just for a moment, so I can see the fullness of the cosmos and of your blessed night voyage.

INANNA CARD ONE HER BLESSING Maiden

She is the Lady of Honey and Rapture.

Inanna speaks: They call me back to the bedchamber, over and over, crying out at my sweetness and ecstasy, promising me bliss and rapture. I am the moment when mind and ego, and self are consumed by the constellations of pleasure that erupt within your or**sm.

But I am also many other things.

I am courage and ambition, desert fire and storm, hungry for all I can consume. My nature is the willingness to go to extremes, to have more than enough, to keep reaching and searching and taking. I am voracious. I am never satisfied, or still.

My domains are the Great Above and the earth you all walk upon; you walk upon me because I allow it to be so. I have sought the Great Below, though it did not belong to me. I was not victorious, but in losing the battle for all that lies beneath, I became more myself than I could have been if I had rested within safety and contentment. I have stripped myself bare and allowed myself to be destroyed to be remade. I was not humbled by my failure, but I have learned the power of my Sister.

My temple priestesses are passionate and devoted, offering their s*x to me, their rites to me, and they are ferocious in their desires, as am I. are

I am not made for one man, but for the love rites and the courtship, the seduction and the worship. I am not for the mundane. I am only for ecstasy.

Once, there was a violation, and so I took that man's breath away. I will not allow you to be forced or enslaved, unavenged or robbed of pleasure. Those who would treat you so will be met with my Justice.

I do not care what form your physicality takes; be you one who shapes their form in my honour (though born unlike it), for your pleasure and love is as holy as any other.

I will wield the full extent of my power and enjoy the heights it takes me to. I will live no safe life. Do not enchain yourself to the illusion of safety.

I come to you now to raise all of you up, for there is no part of yourself that is to be feared.

LAKSHMI CARD ONE - HER BLESSING Mother

Lady of the Sacred Nectar that is life's true abundance.

Lakshmi speaks: They come to me seeking wealth, for I am most known as the Goddess of Abundance. And it is true. I am abundance, yes, yes, yes; I bring prosperity and riches. But those who do this fail to come close to who I am or what my gifts can bring.

I am the embodiment of sacred nectar, amrita. The sweet, fulfilling amrita that is Me will bring satisfaction and generosity to those who drink it. Because when you are truly abundant, you will be generous of spirit and bountiful in compliments, kindness and gifts. Because of this, you will begin to overflow with your own sweet nectar, your own amrita. The fountain of amrita can draw to you good deeds, attract kindness and ensure a never-ceasing flow of prosperity.

I cannot offer amrita to those who seek only wealth, for the richest being cannot taste the nectar unless they are willing to enter fully into the cycle of generosity.

If I can give you this great treasure, then in the sharing of your own wealth and prosperity, you will be blessed with exaltation, ecstasy and hope. You will draw to you all you desire and enjoy a life filled with my golden radiance.

My mudras, or sacred gestures, are abhava-confidence, support and assurance-and varada, to give.

I have eight manifestations, and my sacred number is eight, the perfect expression of infinite abundance. I am the first. I bring grains, crops and harvest. I give courage and fortitude. I am elephants, offspring and creativity, fertility and victory. I am the highest powers of your mind, and as you already know-because this is what most people see first and only see-I am wealth and prosperity.

When I come to you, it shall be with the golden warmth of the sun. I will come at sunrise when the new day's fortune can begin. I will bring all my gold to those who strive to be wise.

I will scent your world with the sweetest blossoms, pour elixir through your cells, and offer you the ability to create wealth that partners with the deepest joy.

Let me awaken within you the part of you that is most like Me.
