What’s the hardest part of running a sauna business?

The hardest part is constantly having to be on and constantly having to fix things.

Everything gets so much use that things are constantly breaking.

So if you’re thinking about opening a sauna, make sure you’ve got plenty of free time — and make sure you’re good with your hands! 😂

Gone bad on posting these Q & As after EP ! Anyway one I didn’t think we would get as many questions on ! Where do we get our wood or what type of wood do you use ? So we get our wood from .ie (unreal service) and we only burn birch now ( quicker heat and less harsh on the stove IMO)

Q&A #5 — Why the branding?

A big one for us and probably a divisive one is our branding.

From day one, we wanted something that stood out and moved away from the typical wellness look.

We landed on our GTA-inspired Urban Sauna Co. logo, with pink chosen for one simple reason — to draw the eye and be different.

Love it or hate it, you’ll remember it (hopefully)

Q&A #4 Any plans for Urban 2.0?

We’re on the hunt for the right fit. A prime location, a strong local community and a site that aligns with the Urban Sauna Co brand are all really important to us, but finding the right site takes time.

We’re actively looking and have something in the early stages. If you know of a suitable location or someone we should speak to, please get in touch.

Do you own Cozy? Is Cozy your company? Where did Cozy come from?

We’ve had a few people asking about Cozy and where we got them from.

We don’t own the company, but we are Cozy’s official distributor in Ireland.

We chose Cozy for our own private sauna before later installing one in our Silent Sauna. Since then, the feedback has been fantastic, with customers preferring the Cozy stove thanks to its larger stone capacity. More stones mean more heat, more steam, and better löyly.

You can now find our current in-stock Cozy range available to purchase on the Store section of the Urban Sauna Co. website, along with sauna stones and chimney kits.

We’re looking forward to expanding the store with even more Cozy products and other sauna products in the near future.
