✨ Why Aftercare Matters After Intimate Waxing & Sugaring ✨

The treatment doesn't end when you leave the salon. what you do afterwards plays a huge role in your results.

💛 Following the correct aftercare helps to: Reduce the chance of ingrown hairs.
Soothe the skin and minimise irritation.
Prevent bacteria from entering open follicles.
Keep your skin smooth and healthy between appointments.

One thing many people don't realise is that the hair naturally becomes softer and finer with regular waxing or sugaring. While this is exactly what we want, finer hairs can sometimes struggle to break through the surface of the skin, making them more likely to become ingrown if the skin isn't exfoliated regularly.

My top aftercare tips:
✨ Avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming and exercise for 24 hours.
✨ Wear loose, breathable clothing.
✨ Moisturise daily once your skin has settled.
✨ Gently exfoliate 2–3 times a week (starting 48 hours after your appointment) to help those finer hairs grow through the skin instead of underneath it.

Beautiful results are a partnership between your treatment and your home care. A few minutes each week can make all the difference to keeping your skin smooth, healthy and ingrown-free. 💕
