Boulanje Manman Troll started production during the autumn of 2012. The bakery now provides 13 steady jobs.
In addition, approximately 60 female sellers purchase bread from the bakery to resell in the streets. Manman Troll is a women's network started by Haitian/Norwegian Non -Profit "Prosjekt Haiti" in 2007. Manman Troll offers reading and writing classes, vocational training including sewing and hairdressing, as well as developing businesses such as a tailor shop and a community bakery. The goal is to educate and provide opportunity to vulnerable women in Haiti.
