At 35, I had built the life I thought I wanted: an international career, five markets, million-figure responsibility, a new marriage, my little boy.

Everything looked right.

And yet, something in me did not.

Motherhood had shown me what real care for another human being looks like. It made one truth impossible to ignore: I had spent years being responsible for work, people, outcomes, expectations — but not, in any profound way, for myself.

I had mistaken self-care for consumption: eating well, travelling, beautiful things, experiences.

But real care is not what you give yourself.

It is what you refuse to keep compromising.

So I made myself my work.

What began as a personal correction became a completely different way of seeing.

The visible is rarely the whole story.

A face can look tired when life looks successful. A body can carry tension long after the reason for it has been rationalised away. Structure adapts. Emotion leaves a trace.

That is where my work begins.

Not with massage. Not with a wrinkle. Not with the surface.

I work beneath the visible change.

With the structure. With the adaptations. With what has accumulated over time. With the person who may have everything — and still knows something is not quite right.

Because neglect does not always look like neglect.

Sometimes it looks like a very successful life.

And once I understood how much could change when you work at that deeper level, I knew it should not remain in one room, with one pair of hands.

So I began teaching it.

Today, my work is built on the same principle that changed my own life:

True care begins where compromise ends.

Ovo nije finalni rezultat, nego jedan segment procesa u kojem lice ne promatram izolirano.

Rad je integriran — kroz tijelo, fasciju, neuromuskularni tonus i emocionalne obrasce koji mogu sudjelovati u načinu na koji organiziramo napetost.

U prikazanom segmentu vidljiva je promjena donje trećine lica, submandibularne regije i vrata: mirnija organizacija tkiva, jasniji prijelaz čeljust–vrat i uravnoteženiji tonus.

Nakon 3 tretmana postignut je normotonus.

Rad se nastavlja.
Sljedeći session: buccal + daljnji integrirani rad.

I am no longer impressed by my ability to do it.

Strength was never the question. Having to use it all the time is.

Tada više nema ničega iza čega se možeš sakriti.

Ne iza obaveza.
Ne iza ljudi.
Ne iza buke.
Ne iza vlastitih opravdanja.

Ostaješ sam sa sobom i sa svim odlukama koje si donio.

Tu se karakter više ne može odglumiti.

Disciplina nije ono što govoriš da imaš.
Disciplina je ono što napraviš kada ti se ne da.
Kada nitko ne vidi.
Kada nema nagrade.

Odluke režu.
Jedne stvari ostavljaju iza tebe, druge puštaju unutra.

I s vremenom postaneš upravo ono što si birao.

Ili jesi.
Ili nisi.

Mrak to samo učini vidljivim.
Sve ostalo je izbor.

After every education, I write a reflection about the group.

And ever since my very first one in 2022, I’ve had the same thought: am I eventually going to start repeating myself? 😆

Apparently not.

Because although every group has its own energy, this one felt different almost immediately.

Very quickly, we moved past the usual professional conversations and into everything else—children, religion, work, relationships, dating 😆, personal stories, ridiculous jokes, serious thoughts.

There was very little distance between us.

Even the breaks didn’t feel like colleagues sitting quietly and resetting before the next part of the training. They felt more like moments on a family trip—everyone talking over one another, laughing, sharing something, continuing a conversation that had started hours earlier.

And somewhere between all the anatomy, technique, concentration and very long days, something much more personal happened.

We trusted one another with parts of our private lives that people do not usually offer so easily.

That kind of openness cannot be planned, taught or manufactured.

It either happens or it doesn’t.

This time, it did.

So when I say I hope our paths cross again, it doesn’t really feel like the usual thing you say at the end of three days together.
