Today is National Pet Memorial Day. It is a day dedicated to our lovely pets who are no longer with us 🩵

This is Pickle. Pickle was the dog who brought us into the world of dog training, dog sports and canine massage.

In 2013, Pickle fell off Fort Le Marchant, and landed screaming in pain. We rushed him to the vets, where we were told he had no internal bleeding, no broken bones and he was "fine". After some time, we knew he still wasn't feeling good, so took him to see Ren Glass (Canine Motion Dog Massage Therapy) who found lots of scar tissue and muscular strains from the incident.

After one treatment, Pickle was like a different dog. He was so much happier, more energetic and back to himself. He continued to have massage treatments whenever we could, and he lived to be 14.5 years old.

Pickle was the one who changed everything.

My favourite thing to do with my dogs is to travel and explore different walks. Here is a photo from a few years ago, of me and Code in the Shropshire Hills.

Today was a day FULL of black and white border collies! I did have one more lovely black and white collie but didn’t take a photo 🖤🤍
