Uncertainty can feel uncomfortable, but it doesn't automatically mean something bad is going to happen.

Our brains can often fill in the gaps with worst‑case scenarios, especially when we are tired, overwhelmed, or dysregulated.

But sometimes, uncertainty is just… uncertainty.
A space between now and later.

It is simply the absence of information — not proof of threat.

For some people — especially neurodivergent brains — uncertainty can feel even more intense. Not because danger is present, but because the nervous system is working harder to predict, prepare, and stay safe.

CBT reminds us that “uncertainty = danger” is a thought, not a fact.
It’s a pattern the brain learns over time, especially when life has been unpredictable or demanding.

Do you ever notice an intense reaction to uncertainty?
Becoming more aware of that response can help you recognise the “uncertainty = danger” thought when it shows up — and gently question whether it’s offering facts or possibilities.✨

Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances the training course I was supposed to be attending next week is being rescheduled so I will be in work offering Massages, Facials and sound therapy .
