💋💚 TUESDAY TIP — ARE YOUR LIPS KISSABLE? 💚💋

Go on… be honest!

Do you love your lips?

I mean REALLY love them?

Or are they currently feeling a little more…

…than soft, smooth and kissable?

As the weather changes, our lips can certainly start letting us know about it.

But here's something you might not realise…

💚 THE SKIN ON OUR LIPS IS DIFFERENT.

Our lips have a much thinner outer layer than much of the skin on our face and don't have the same oil-producing protection.

That means they're particularly vulnerable to losing moisture, which is why cold weather, wind, central heating and even repeatedly licking our lips can leave them feeling dry and uncomfortable.

So simply extending your usual facial skincare over your lips isn't necessarily the answer.

💋 HERE'S HOW TO GIVE YOUR LIPS A LITTLE LOVE:

✨ Gently exfoliate when needed to help lift away dry, flaky skin.. no aggressive scrubbing!

💧 Hydrate & moisturise with a lip product designed to help keep them soft and comfortable.

🛡️ Protect them...lips need protection from the elements too, including UV exposure.

💦 Keep hydrated...another little reason to remember your water.

👅 And try not to keep licking dry lips. It might feel soothing for a few seconds, but as the saliva evaporates it can leave them feeling even drier.
