As Summer draws to an end and the Autumn season slowly changes the scenery around us, I love the season shift. Love the change of colours. From the brights of the Summer and all things holiday themed, to the rich warmth of the cosy Autumn shades. I love the burnt orange- red of the leaves and how suddenly there are pumpkins, acorns, squirrels, foxes and toadstools on everything from mugs, to jammies and more. August for me is also about the return to school for the kids who've been under our feet for weeks now and the dreaded "Back to School" uniform shop.

This seasonal shift has always brought new beginnings for me. For some, there is excitement of a wee one starting their first day of nursery, primary or secondary school. For others, a new chapter begins with the start of a new college or uni course.
Whatever challenges life throws you, remember to take care of yourself and that self care isn't selfish.
