At My Beloved Makeup Academy, I offer a 12-month accredited HMUA training course with small-group teaching, hands-on practice and individual guidance.

The HMUA training includes:

• Facials for every skin type and professional skincare
• Skin anatomy, skin lesions, infections, nerves and muscles
• Skin assessments and diagnoses, including internal and external causes of skin concerns
• Beauty, occasion and bridal makeup and hair
• Stage and bo***ir makeup and hair
• Makeup and hair for photo shoots
• TV makeup and hair
• Trauma makeup
• Editorial looks
• Creative and character makeup
• Wig application

Students who demonstrate the right skills, attitude and reliability may also have opportunities to assist on professional jobs.

I also offer separate small courses and workshops for additional skill development. These are separate from the HMUA training and do not include job opportunities.

• Hair styling and updos
• Skincare and skin preparation

I absolutely loved creating the makeup and hair for this shoot and seeing the whole concept come together so beautifully. It’s always special to see our creative work in print, especially in a national wedding publication. ✨

📖 To Have & To Hold – Sept/Oct 2026 issue

This was my 4th season at Glyndebourne and definitely one of the most memorable. It’s taken me a little while to put this post together because I’ve been dealing with some serious end-of-season blues, haha.

I’m so grateful to have worked alongside such an incredible team and shared this season with friends old and new. I’ve made memories I’ll never forget with people who hold a very special place in my heart.

I hope to see many of you back at Glyndebourne next year, but wherever life takes you, I wish you all the best, you very special people. Sending you love and all the happiness in the world. 🫶

A makeup trial is such an important part of creating your perfect bridal look. 🤍

Sometimes it’s only after the trial - once you’ve seen the complete look, worn it for a few hours and looked back at photos - that you realise exactly what you love and what you might like to change.

Even if we don’t completely nail every detail at the trial, it gives us something to compare and work from. We can refine the colours, shape, intensity and little details until we know exactly what feels right for you.

With this beautiful bride, after the trial, we decided to go for something softer and more natural on the wedding day, focusing on enhancing her natural beauty, and it worked out perfectly.
