Love her đâ¤ď¸
This is exactly why the consultation matters.
Sheâd previously had her jawline treated with me two years ago, and now sheâs come back because we felt her chin could benefit from a little more projection.
But the goal isnât to completely change her profile.
She has a slightly recessed chin, so adding a small amount of projection can improve the relationship between the chin, lips and nose and create better facial balance.
And just as importantly⌠weâre not trying to create a witchy chin or a Johnny Bravo jaw đ
Sometimes less really is more.
Iâd much rather build gradually, reassess and make subtle changes over time than over-treat in one appointment.
Because good filler should enhance your features not announce that youâve had filler.

3 aesthetic treatments I personally wouldnât have đ
Not because theyâre necessarily âbadâ treatments but because, for me, the potential downsides and long-term considerations would outweigh the benefits.
In this video Iâm talking about:
⨠Tear trough filler
⨠Buccal fat removal
⨠Thread lifts
Your face changes over time, so Iâm always looking beyond the immediate result and thinking about longevity, facial structure and how a treatment may affect your face in the future.
Would you have any of these treatments? đ

Sometimes itâs not your jawline thatâs the problem⌠itâs the relationship between your chin, jaw and the rest of your face.
This client had a slightly recessed chin, which meant her side profile lacked a little projection and definition.
Rather than adding lots of filler, we used a small amount strategically to bring the chin forward, improve the lower-face proportions and create a more balanced side profile alongside defining the jawline.
If you look at your side profile and feel like:
⢠your chin sits slightly too far back
⢠your jawline disappears from certain angles
⢠your lower face feels a little âoffâ or unbalanced
⢠your nose looks more prominent from the side
⢠youâve never been able to put your finger on why your profile doesnât quite look how you want it toâŚ
It could be your facial proportions, not something that needs correcting with lots of filler.
This is exactly why I donât believe in simply injecting the area you point to. I assess how everything works together first, then use filler strategically to create balance while keeping your result looking like you.

Put. The. Microneedle. Down. đ
I know at-home microneedling looks like an easy way to improve your skin⌠but deeper doesnât automatically mean better.
When microneedling is done incorrectly, you can cause unnecessary trauma to the skin, increase the risk of infection, pigmentation and scarring, and potentially make the problem youâre trying to fix worse.
Professional microneedling isnât just about the device itâs about needle depth, technique, skin condition, hygiene and knowing when NOT to treat.
Save this before you buy that at-home device⌠and send it to someone who needs to hear it. đ¤
Your skin deserves better than DIY guesswork.

Your skin deserves better than DIY guesswork.
If youâve started pulling your face back in the mirror⌠or using face strips to make everything look a little tighter đ
I get it.
When you can physically see your skin being pulled into a tighter position, it can feel like youâve found the answer.
But hereâs the thingâŚ
If youâre noticing a softer jawline, jowls or changes around the lower face, itâs not simply a case of your skin âneeding to be tighter.â
As we age, there are changes happening beneath the skin too including changes in collagen, fat distribution and tissue support.
Thatâs why my approach isnât about simply adding filler where you see a line or pulling everything upwards.
Itâs about understanding WHY your lower face has changed and creating balance so you still look like you just fresher, more defined and more lifted.
⨠Less âdoneâ.
⨠More refreshed.

If youâve caught yourself doing the mirror pull⌠this oneâs for you.

Look at the difference a carefully planned treatment can make â¨
This client had lost a significant amount of weight, and although that was an amazing transformation for her body, the weight loss had also affected the volume and structure of her face.
When we lose a lot of weight, we can lose facial fat too particularly through the cheeks and mid-face. This can leave the face looking more hollow, tired or less supported, and can sometimes make areas of laxity and volume loss more noticeable.
So rather than simply adding volume where she felt she needed it, I looked at her face as a whole and considered where volume had been lost and how we could restore balance and support.
The goal wasnât to change her features it was to restore what had been lost and bring back a fresher, more balanced version of her face.
This is why your treatment plan should always be personalised to your face, your anatomy and your journey.
If youâve lost a significant amount of weight and feel like your face has changed too, book a consultation and letâs assess what your face actually needs. đ¤
Your under-eyes can change the way your whole face looks. đ
Darkness, fine lines, creasing, or that tired-looking appearance can make you feel like you look more exhausted than you actually are.
And one of the questions I get asked most is: âWhat can actually be done about my under-eye area?â
The answer depends on whatâs causing the concern.
⨠Crowâs feet anti-wrinkle helps soften the appearance of dynamic lines around the eyes by reducing muscle movement.
⨠Polynucleotides work differently. Theyâre focused on improving the quality of the skin, supporting hydration, elasticity and overall skin rejuvenation.
Theyâre not interchangeable treatments, and not everyone needs the same thing.
Thatâs why I always assess the area properly before recommending anything because treating the right problem is what creates the most natural-looking result.
If youâre constantly looking in the mirror thinking âWhy do my eyes make me look so tired?â, it might be time to find out whatâs actually causing it.
đ DM me âUNDER EYEâ and Iâll talk you through what may be suitable for you.
Iâm an aesthetics practitioner⌠but what have I actually had done to my own face? đ
I thought Iâd keep this one real and share the treatments Iâve personally had, what I loved, what Iâd do again and what I probably wouldnât rush back to.
Because Iâm a big believer that aesthetic treatments should enhance what you already have not change who you are.
And honestly, being in the industry has definitely made me much more selective about what I choose to have done.
Would you like me to do a part 2 and tell you the treatments I would never have? đ
