✨ WHY I CHOSE A HOME SALON ✨

When I decided to create EDIT, I knew I wanted to do things a little differently 🤍

🏡 A more private experience
With a maximum of two clients at a time, there’s no busy, overcrowded salon — just a calmer, more personal appointment where you can properly relax.

🤍 More one-to-one time
I can give each client my full attention, from the consultation right through to the finished result, without feeling rushed. Your appointment is your time. 🥰

☕️ It’s all about the little touches
I wanted EDIT to be more than somewhere you just come to get your hair done. From a full drinks menu and a little biscuit with your drink, to sweets and Fruit Shoots for the kids — it’s those little extras that hopefully make you feel looked after from the minute you walk through the door.

I also wanted to be able to give something back to my lovely regular clients, so every visit gets you that little bit closer to a treat on me. 🤍

👩‍👧‍👦 Very family orientated
This was a BIG one for me. Having two children myself, I 💯 understand how hard it can be when you want your hair doing but have nobody to have the kids!

If you’ve got the kids and no childcare — bring them! They are more than welcome. 🤍

I never want a mum to feel awkward or like they have to apologise for bringing their children. There are drinks and sweets for them too, and I’ll always do my best to make them feel just as welcome and comfortable as you are.

🚗 Easy parking
There’s client parking right outside on the drive, so no driving around trying to find a space or having to walk miles to your appointment.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 It works around my family too
One of the biggest reasons I chose a home salon was being able to have the career and salon I love while still being there for my own family. For me, it really is the best of both worlds. 🤍

✨ I got to create MY perfect little salon
Every detail has been chosen by me — from the decor and products right down to the drinks, biscuits, sweets and all those little finishing touches.

I wanted EDIT to feel professional and luxurious, but without losing that friendly, comfortable feeling where you can come in, get comfy, have a good chat and just be yourself.

🐻 And of course… Zeus!
The unofficial EDIT mascot 😂🐾 You might occasionally spot our big fluffy boy making an appearance. His salon duties currently consist mainly of looking cute and sleeping on the job! 😂

But I completely understand that not everyone is a dog person. Some people may be nervous around dogs, have allergies or simply prefer not to have him around — and that is absolutely fine! 🤍

Zeus doesn’t have access to the salon, so if you’d rather not see him, you absolutely don’t have to. Please never feel awkward about saying so — I want every single person who comes to EDIT to feel completely comfortable and relaxed.

Opening my own home salon was a massive change, but I honestly love the little space I’ve created and everything it stands for. 🥹🤍

It might be a home salon, but you still get the full salon experience — just more private, more relaxed, more personal and very family orientated.

A little salon where everyone is welcome. 🤍✨

Monday 21st December — 9am–4pm
Tuesday 22nd December — 9am–8pm
Wednesday 23rd December — 9am–4pm
Christmas Eve — 9am–3pm

I’ll then be switching off, spending some much-needed time with my family and enjoying Christmas 🎄🥂🤍
