Our gorgeous Sophie 🤍✨
She’s officially on her skin + lip journey with us, and we’re all about taking it slowly and building results over time.
This is Sophie’s second lip session in 4 months, gradually building that top lip rather than trying to create too much volume in one appointment 👄
And we’re not stopping at the lips… Sophie’s next goal is her skin. We’ll be working on improving texture and acne scarring, but we’re holding off on the more intensive skin treatments until after her summer holiday ☀️
Because the best results aren’t always created in one appointment sometimes it’s a journey, and we’re here for the whole thing. 🤍

Be honest… which one hurt the most? 💀
Because suddenly lip filler doesn’t seem so bad 😂💋
A little pinch, a little pressure, a little swelling… and at least you leave with something you actually wanted: pretty lips 🤌🏼
Pain is temporary.

We all know BTX for softening lines and wrinkles, but research has also looked at something completely different…
Studies have explored whether treating the frown muscles with botulinum toxin could help reduce symptoms of depression.
One theory is the facial feedback hypothesis the idea that our facial expressions don’t just communicate how we feel, they may also feed information back to the brain and influence our emotional experience.
So by temporarily reducing our ability to repeatedly frown, researchers have questioned whether this could interrupt some of that negative emotional feedback.
Pretty fascinating, right? 👀
Now, this DOESN’T mean BTX is an approved treatment for depression, and much more research is needed but it’s a really interesting area of ongoing research.
Who knew one little frown could be so complicated? 😂🧠💉

A little bruising + swelling is completely normal following lip filler 💉
And with this gorgeous hot weather ☀️, you may notice swelling is a little more noticeable too as heat can exacerbate it.
These are fresh off the needle, so they’ll continue to settle, soften and become even more beautiful over the next couple of weeks.
