If you are looking for flawless makeup this Summer, then you need to start with the basics and ensure that your skin has been prepped to perfection - helping to leave your makeup sitting (and lasting) on your face all day.

My skin routine (not exclusively as it does vary from client to client) is as follows -

- Cleanse - Wash away any impurities, dirt and oil that may have built up on your skin overnight
- Tone - Helps to replenish your skin after cleansing and sets a good foundation for the rest of your morning skincare routine
- Serum - There are a huge variety of different serums that can help to target different areas, but I like to use a hydrating serum, helping to protect my skin from daily pollution
- Moisturise - Vital to helping the skin stay healthy and help ageing skin appear more youthful
- Eye cream - Helps to treat the appearance and development of wrinkles and is formulated specifically for this delicate facial tissue
- SPF - Essential all year round! Protects your skin from the sun's harmful UV rays, which can damage cells and age skin prematurely
