What you see as “a makeup kit” is actually hours of prep.

Cleaning.
Sanitising.
Restocking.
Decanting.
Sharpening.
Checking products.
Checking them AGAIN.

And making sure I have everything I could possibly need because wedding morning is not the time to realise you’ve run out of your favourite lip liner 😂

How does it sit on skin?
How does it photograph?
How does it wear after 8 hours?
Does it work on dry skin?
Oily skin?
Mature skin?

If I’m putting it on a bride, I want to KNOW it works.

Understanding your skin and choosing the right prep is such a huge part of what I do.

Because my goal has always been skin that still looks like skin — just beautifully radiant, fresh and perfected.

There’s something really special about being invited into such an intimate part of someone’s wedding day.

I see the nerves.
The excitement.
The happy tears.
The “OMG THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING” moments.

And I genuinely LOVE being the person who helps make those few hours feel calm, fun and exciting.

THE CONSTANT LEARNING

Five years into my business and I’m STILL learning.

I never want to stop getting better at what I do.

With demand continuing to grow, my bridal dates are limited. This is intentional — I want to make sure that every bride who books with me receives the calm, personal and professional luxe experience I pride myself on, from the very first enquiry through to walking down the aisle.

Your wedding morning should feel relaxed, exciting and completely you — and it’s such a privilege to be the person alongside you making that happen.

Back in August, I had the absolute pleasure of getting Carys wedding-ready for the most beautiful day — a stunning cathedral ceremony followed by a gorgeous marquee celebration back at the family home in Norfolk.

With a background in theatre, Carys absolutely understood the assignment… and WOW, didn’t she impress! ✨

For her bridal makeup, we created a beautifully polished, radiant look that felt effortlessly her — luminous skin, softly defined eyes, fluttering lashes and just the right amount of definition to complement her features without ever feeling overdone.

And seeing everything come together with her beautiful gown, veil, pearls and that just-married glow was something very special.

A soft, romantic bridal look for a day that felt every bit as beautiful as the setting.

Sineads request was my signature glowing, skin-focused makeup with softly defined eyes, fluttery lashes and that “my skin, but better” finish — keeping everything timeless, fresh and completely her.

Almost two years without you, Mum. 🤍

As another September 7th approaches, it’s hard to comprehend that two years have passed since we said goodbye. Some days it feels like a lifetime ago, and others like no time has passed at all.

Life has carried on, as it somehow does. There have been happy days, celebrations and so many moments I wish I could pick up the phone and tell you about.

I still look for you in the little things — a robin’s song, a feather, a butterfly passing by. Those little glimmers that make you feel close when I need you most.

I think grief is learning to carry the sadness alongside the joy. The missing never really goes away, because neither does the love.

I hope wherever you are, you’re smiling down, proud of us all — just as we will always be so incredibly proud of you.

Two years without you, but a lifetime of loving you.

A long-awaited visit to the Holland Cooper flagship.

Then a gorgeous Cotswolds escape for my friends’ birthday — Stow-on-the-Wold, Dunkertons Farm Shop and Deli Sheep on Sheep Street beautiful walks along the Monarch Way, endless countryside views, Daylesford Organic (officially in love), tablescape inspiration and, of course, Diddly Squat Farm Shop … where I may have had the best sausage bap of my life 😂

One of the most special moments was watching the eclipse from a beautiful nature reserve with family. It also happened to fall on what would have been Mum’s birthday, which made an already magical evening feel that little bit more poignant 🤍

A full, happy August with lots of moments I’m very grateful for.

And now into September — one of my busiest months of the year with 6 beautiful weddings ahead. 💫
