Does facial hair bother you? Whatever your concern, be it peach fuzz, a dark upper lip, hirsutism caused by PCOS or those dreaded menopause hormones playing games with you, sugaring is an all natural and excellent choice to gently remove hairs on delicate facial tissue, leaving you feeling soft, smooth and confident in your own skin.

Sugaring can remove hairs as short as 1/8” and as the hairs are removed in the direction of growth, it can be less uncomfortable than other methods.

I’ve seen many fantastic results with facial sugaring on clients who have reported softer, less noticeable regrowth and I’d love to help you too.

These legs have been sugared regularly since Autumn last year. My lovely client attended her latest appointment recently (the image shows 4 weeks of regrowth) and is enjoying the benefits of finer, more sparse regrowth which is much less noticeable than when she first started sugaring, having previously been a shaver.

Consistent appointments (every 4-6 weeks) help align the hair growth cycle which in time can result in finer and reduced regrowth. It doesn’t happen overnight but the results can be very rewarding for a low maintenance way of dealing with body hair that’s as kind to your skin as it is to the environment. 🍯🌱

Removing the hairs at your sugaring appointment is only half the job... 📅

How you treat your skin in between appointments can make all the difference to the results. 💚

You’ll hear me talk 🗣️ about exfoliating and moisturising during your appointment and I really can’t stress how beneficial these two things are. ✅

🧼 𝐄𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 🧼
When hairs are removed from the roots, they naturally grow back with a tapered tip and so are weaker when trying to break through your skin. Regular exfoliating removes the dead skin cells making it easier for these new hairs to grow through the skins surface and as a result can lead to less ingrown hairs.

It is recommended to exfoliate 2-3 times a week (except in the 48 hours prior to and following your appointment).

Exfoliating doesn’t need to be anything fancy, a simple exfoliating sponge or glove in the shower is enough to do the trick. There are, of course, plenty of exfoliating scrubs to choose from which are also a great option if you prefer something more indulgent.

🧴 𝐌𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 🧴
Daily moisturising with a light moisturising lotion or milk will help keep your skin soft, supple and hydrated. Therefore your skin will be in the best condition which helps reduce the presence of ingrown hairs.

Any body milk or light moisturising lotion is suitable. There are so many on the market, it’s about finding one which suits your skin. Just be sure to avoid occlusive ingredients (such as coconut or shea) as these leave a barrier on the skins surface making it harder for the new, weaker hairs to grow through.

When it comes to Sugaring, it doesn’t matter if you are male or female; any area I can perform Sugaring on for a woman, I can apply to a man and vice versa (with the exception of intimate Sugaring, of course, which I’ve not yet trained for but keep your eyes peeled for updates on this 👀).
