A little change… ❤️

I’ve realised I haven’t actually posted anything on here at all this year! 🙈😂 And honestly, that pretty much sums up how busy life has been.

I’ve been working so much that social media has completely gone out of the window. I’m so grateful for how busy I am and for every single one of you who continues to support me, but if I’m being completely honest, I’ve got to the point where I need to make a change.

For years now I’ve worked Tuesday–Saturday, often doing long days, and then most Sundays are taken up with dance commitments with my daughter.

I absolutely love what I do, but somewhere along the way I’ve completely lost any sort of work/life balance.

My husband, my son and I are honestly like passing ships at the moment, and I’ve realised I’m missing out on too much time with them.

So, after a lot of thinking (and probably a lot of worrying! 😂), I’ve decided that in the new year I’m going to change my working days to Monday–Friday, with two late evenings.

This does mean giving up my Saturdays, and I know that unfortunately this change won’t suit everyone. And if I’m honest, that’s the bit that has made me so scared to do it.

I’ve always tried my best to accommodate everyone, and I never want any of you to feel that I don’t appreciate your custom, because I genuinely appreciate every single person who sits in my chair. ❤️

But I’ve also had to realise that I’ve been doing this for a very long time, and it’s okay to want a bit more from life than just working.

This decision hasn’t been made lightly at all, and I really hope you’ll understand why I’m doing it.

I’m incredibly grateful for every single one of my clients for your loyalty, your support, your chats, your laughs and for allowing me to do a job I genuinely love. 🥰

I’m hoping this little change will mean I can be happier, more present for my family and, in turn, give the best version of myself to my clients too. ❤️
Thank you for understanding and for continuing to support me, even though I’ve been rubbish at keeping up with social media this year! 😂❤️ I will hopefully gain more time to do this.
