Arabian Nights… but make it my way. 🖤✨
My first attempt at the trending Arabian lash look, and of course, things didn’t go exactly as planned. 😂
I had a model booked for this look, but life had other plans… so Paulina stepped in last minute and saved the day! 🖤
Now, you know me. I love a challenge, but I also love finding ways to work smarter, not harder.
So instead of following the traditional technique step by step, I added a few of my own little twists to speed things up without losing the overall effect.
The result? 2 hours.
Which, for me, is actually a LONG lash appointment. 😂
And honestly? If I’d done this using the traditional method on someone with this many natural lashes, I reckon we’d have been there for at least 3 hours!
Looking at the final result, I can already see things I’d do differently next time. And that’s exactly what I love about trying something new.
I’m not afraid to experiment, make adjustments and challenge my own techniques. Even after years in this industry, there’s always something new to learn.
Would I do it again? ABSOLUTELY. 🔥
In fact, I already want another go at it.

SAVE THIS before your next lash appointment 👻😂
Some things don’t scare me…
but THESE? Immediate lash tech horror story. 💀
👻 Dirty, unwashed lashes
Your lash appointment starts before you even walk through my door. Clean lashes = better bonding, better retention and more time actually lashing instead of cleaning.
👻 Arriving GHASTLY late
5–10 minutes might not feel like much… but when every minute of your appointment is planned, it can mean fewer lashes applied and a less full result.
👻 Booking an infill when you actually need a full set
If there aren’t enough extensions left to refill, it’s no longer an infill. And unfortunately, I can’t squeeze full-set work into an infill appointment. 😭
Basically… don’t give your lash tech the creeps this Halloween. 👻😂

A red eye after a lash appointment does NOT automatically mean an allergy. 👀
And this is something both lash artists and clients need to understand.
Redness straight after the appointment can sometimes be caused by irritation — for example fumes reaching the eye, the eye not being fully closed during application or eye pads/tape sitting too close.
An allergic reaction usually looks different.
Think:
→ swollen or puffy eyelids
→ itching
→ redness around the lash line
→ symptoms that develop or get worse hours after the appointment
→ swelling that can still be present the next day or even a few days later
And here’s the important part:
⚠️ Once someone develops a suspected allergy to lash adhesive, don’t just keep changing glues and hoping the next one will be fine.
The client should seek appropriate medical advice, especially if symptoms are significant or persistent. If there is severe swelling, eye pain, vision changes or breathing difficulties, they need urgent medical attention.
As lash artists, our job isn’t to diagnose.
Our job is to recognise when something doesn’t look like normal post-treatment irritation, know when NOT to continue treatment and put our client’s safety first.
