Team Micro

TeamMicro.com is owned and managed by Damien Porter, a senior business consultant and long-time ambassador for the scalp micropigmentation industry. Damien has been heavily involved with the scalp micropigmentation industry since 2008 and offers a wealth of insider knowledge and experience. He has had working relationships with a number of leading and boutique scalp micropigmentation companies, and has a broader knowledge of the SMP industry than anyone else in the world. Damien was the Global Marketing Director at HIS Hair Clinic for 6 years. He guided several thousand clients through the scalp micropigmentation process, and became a trusted friend to many. Damien was then Director of Marketing at rival Scalp Aesthetics for nearly 2 years, before concluding the arrangement in February 2016. Damien has also worked as a freelance business and marketing consultant, holding senior positions at Vinci Hair Clinic, Evolve Hair Clinic, Vancouver Paramedical and many others. Damien now works on a consultancy basis at a senior level for one of the world’s leading hair transplant clinics, and dedicates his free time to the management of TeamMicro.com. After many years in this industry, longer than almost anyone else, he grew to live it, breathe it and love it. Damien believes passionately in scalp micropigmentation as a solution for hair loss, but is aware that it has it’s limitations and considerations, and these are not always disclosed by the company providing the service. Damien’s mission is to champion the distribution of accurate information about the process. TeamMicro.com is a library of information for those interested in the scalp micropigmentation process.
