Sometimes, realising there’s a need for change doesn’t come gradually - it hits you right in the f*cking face 😂

I’ve been a lil quiet recently which I’ve posted briefly about on my stories, but I’ll be totally honest with you.. it’s because I hadn’t been taking my own advice.

I’d got completely burnt out with the pressure to post what “people want to see”, questioning whether I should follow trends more, thinking “would I grow more if I just do what others are doing”.

This along with dealing with my world outside of work, trying to thrive whilst life has been life-ing at times 🙃

When I slowed the heckkk down though, I reconnected with myself & what BARE was always about 💫

It’s about uncovering your own magic - what’s always been there under the surface. The power. The confidence. The bad b*tch energy. Not changing you but bringing the inner light out so that you can really shine, not just with glowy skin ✨

Everything here has always been intentional anyway, but I’ll be introducing more services - ones that really align with me & where I see the future of BARE. Ones that also REALLY align with what I know my beautiful ladies will benefit from, for their self-care & soul-care 🧚

I’m honestly so excited about this new chapter & what I’ll be bringing to you soon 😬

I’m still on a massive high from our Sisters of She event on Sunday - the energy from the gorgeous ladies that attended was just beautiful & has put a spring right back into my step 💫

Hey, I’m Cait & I wanted to spread a bit of awareness about how much impact 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼-𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝘀 cause for small businesses as it’s happening 𝙛𝙖𝙧 too frequently..

Within the last 2 weeks, I’ve lost out on £580 in cancelled/unattended bookings - a hugely significant sum of money that has meant I’m now going to fall behind on my bills & have had to cancel my OWN appointments with others 😩

Could you imagine turning up to 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 9-5, ready for the day with all the tools you require to work, for your employer to advise they’re not paying you - for literally no reason?!

Despite having policies & systems in place to protect our businesses and income, they’re useless if people are failing to acknowledge them.. or if they don’t enter their card details on our booking systems/move money around, so we can’t charge them when they fail to show.

🚨𝗗𝗢𝗡’𝗧 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗔𝗡’𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘🚨

Do you know that it isn’t JUST the money you owe that we miss out on?

🏡 I 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 have overheads & rent to pay for my beautiful home salon
🛍️ I 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 have to order stock to perform treatments, whether or not you turn up
👩🏻‍💻 I 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 have a booking system & insurance to pay for
⏰ My time has 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 been wasted, through going back & forth with your consultation and doing admin related to your booking
🗓️ I 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 can’t service the other clients that wanted your slot, as it’s too last minute for them to fill it
.it goes on.

Small businesses need every bit of help, understanding & respect right now - waaay more than the BIG corporations you never fail to support or show up for.

Please remember this & if you have an appointment booked with somebody that you can longer make, 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲!

Whatever you do, 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 leave them hanging by not showing up then ghosting them when they pursue you for answers & the money owed.. like somebody did to me just yesterday 👻🙄
