What I admire most is his doggedness. Despite political obstacles, party challenges, and regional politics, he keeps going.

But can the system allow a free and fair contest? In Nigeria, popularity alone doesn’t decide elections. Party structures, money politics, incumbency, and regional sentiments all matter even at home.

Still, don’t give up. Register, get your PVC, vote peacefully, and protect your vote. Let our votes count. Let’s hope for accountable leadership and a breath of fresh air.

Very Dark Man’s brand has grown beyond Nigeria, and one thing people associate with him is truth, integrity, and standing for what is right. With that kind of platform comes a responsibility to be more conscious of the people around you. Not everyone close to you shares the same values. Some people are only there for personal gain, and that can put your name and credibility at risk.

I saw reports that he has taken steps regarding someone very close to him Noni who allegedly used his name and connection to ask people for money. If that is true, I commend him for choosing accountability over sentiment. It is never easy to stand on principle when someone you know is involved, but integrity
means nothing if we only apply it when it is convenient.

Loyalty is important, but it should never be placed above honesty, truth, and doing what is right. Let the appropriate process handle the matter, and let facts guide us, not emotions or assumptions.

At least he is taking action. Anyone unhappy about VDM building schools should direct that concern to the government and remind them they were elected to serve the masses and provide for the people.

I have been following the conversation about VDM and Smartician’s opportunity to study in China. Madam Tracy Ohiri’s point is that it should be the government’s responsibility to identify talent, train them, and sponsor them for further studies abroad. That is a valid point government has a major role to play in education and talent development.

At the same time, I have a simple question if someone anyone steps up to support a young person’s education, can we not acknowledge it? Even if we disagree with the person, even if we are not on the same page, can we still give credit where it is due?

You can criticise someone and still say, “Well done” for a good deed. Supporting education should not depend on whether we like the person or not. If we only celebrate good works from people we like, we may discourage others from helping.

So, my gentle question to Madam Tracy and to all of us why not give VDM his flowers on this one? What do you think can we separate the person from the action and encourage every positive effort?

VDM and Mr. Jollof are at it again… and honestly, I have to say this.

VDM? In this matter, he has little or nothing to lose. But Mr. Jollof, you’re a married man. You have a wife and a family. You keep complaining about how people link your wife to that Coco Butter hotel name, yet your actions keep putting her in the middle of social media drama.

If you had just minded your business, faced your front, and left VDM and Natasha alone, maybe they wouldn’t be dragging your wife online. Now everywhere, it’s Coco Butter this, Coco Butter that. People are insulting and bashing your wife, and honestly, it’s not nice.

A family man should protect his home, not expose it to public ridicule. Please, next time, consider your wife and your family before entering these online fights. No wife deserves to be dragged because of her husband’s social media banter.

VDM UNFOLLOWS TRUTH BE TOLD — MY TAKE

I still don’t understand how a simple different opinion turned into this whole big drama. Truth Be Told couldn’t even separate the trolls from VDM himself.

People were trolling her for choosing Peter, choosing her own side, and instead of facing that directly, she somehow turned it on VDM someone who said nothing to her. To make it worse, she started getting cozy with VDM’s enemies. That doesn’t look right at all, and it doesn’t show maturity. So honestly, she deserved that unfollow from VDM.

But my own issue is this why is VDM always running after people like that? There are people like us who genuinely love and support him, and he’s not even seeing us to follow us. Instead, he’ll follow the same ones who don’t value him. Anyway…
