Yesterday’s burger post clearly created A LOT of emotions 😂 — mostly good ones, thankfully! ❤️

But wow… some of the comments! Apparently I’m a terrible person, I’m starving my dog, and Raven is basically one missed meal away from eating the neighbours. 😂

Well… let me put everyone’s mind at ease. 😌
Raven survived her junk food treat.
So did we. 😂

And yes, she had her usual dinner about 10 minutes later because apparently a McCheeseburger does not count as dinner in this household.

For the record, Raven would absolutely eat anything. 😂 She once tried to consume half-decomposed bird she found on a walk, so believe me… I’m under no illusion that she has sophisticated culinary standards. 🤢😂

We humans generally eat very healthy too, but yes… occasionally we enjoy McDonald’s, KFC, Popeyes and other completely unnecessary but delicious treats. 🍔😂
I genuinely never expected a video of my dog eating a burger bite by bite to cause this much outrage. I still thought it was bloody cute though. ❤️🐾

So, just to put a few minds at ease, here’s what Raven’s usual dinner looks like:
🥩 1kg fresh bison meat
❤️ 150g hearts & liver
🎃 200g sweet potato & pumpkin
🍎 ½ an apple
🥬 1 celery stick
🥛 2 tbsp natural yoghurt
🐟 2 whole sardines
🐟 8 pumps organic Scottish salmon oil
🦴 1 tsp joint supplement
🎃 3 tsp organic pumpkin powder

And yes… she still looks at me like I haven’t fed her in 3 weeks. 😂

🐾 From 5kg to 48kg… and a bond I never could have imagined ❤️

When Raven came home at just 8 weeks old, weighing 5kg, my little girl was only 3 years old.
Then came 6 months…
9 months…
and now 1 year old and 48kg. 🤯
Watching these two grow up together has honestly been one of the most beautiful parts of having Raven in our family.
My daughter has gone from having a tiny puppy following her around… to having this 48kg Rottweiler who is completely devoted to her. ❤️
And the most incredible thing is that so much of

Raven's behaviour towards her doesn't feel taught.
It's instinct.
She watches her.
She follows her.
She checks where she is.
She positions herself close to her.
She knows when she's excited, when she's tired, when something has changed.
That natural “that's my little human” instinct gets me every single time. 🥹
Of course, they're never left unsupervised together and we've always taught both of them boundaries, respect and how to interact safely. But the trust and connection they've built over this first year is something really special.
My little girl is growing up alongside her big, beautiful shadow… and Raven is growing into the role of her protector. 🐾❤️

5kg → 48kg in ONE year.
But somehow, the biggest growth hasn't been Raven's size.
It's their bond. ❤️
And yes… I'm emotional about it. Very. 🥹🐾
