✨ The Impact Hub At The Skills, Elegance & Fine Dining Event🧁💗

Last night, some of our amazing Impact Hub volunteers had the pleasure of attending the Skills, Elegance & Fine Dining event hosted by KRIMMZ GIRLS YOUTH CLUB and Yasmin Umarji . ✨

The evening featured a range of exciting workshops, from leather-making to a bento cake workshop with roojithefoodie .We chose the bento cake workshop, and what a fantastic experience it was! 🎂💕

Not only was it fun and creative, but it also gave us a valuable opportunity to team-build, connect and socialise outside our usual volunteering activities.

At The Impact Hub, volunteering is about so much more than giving your time. It's about developing new skills, gaining valuable experience, expanding your knowledge and building confidence — all of which can enhance your CV and support your future opportunities.

Most importantly, it's about being part of a supportive team where we encourage one another, learn together and grow together. 💪🏽💗

🏏 Empowering Women Through Cricket!

JazakAllahu Khairan to Krimmz for giving the Impact Hub volunteers the opportunity to become female cricket coaches! 🏏

A huge thank you to Melissa from Lancashire Cricket Foundation, who delivered an amazing training session, supported us throughout, and helped us successfully achieve our coaching certificates. 🎓👏

We’re excited to put our new skills into practice and start delivering coaching sessions in our community here in Lancashire. 💪🏏

We’re excited to welcome artist Henna, who will be leading a creative mindfulness art session with the girls. 🎨🧘‍♀️

🌲 Saturday – Our First Youth Trip!
We’re heading outdoors for our first youth trip, with lots planned, including outdoor cooking, forest-led activities and more! 🔥🌳

Due to the bad weather forecast for tomorrow, unfortunately we’ll be cancelling our women’s tennis sessions. 🌧️

But we also have some exciting news! 🎾✨

Over the winter period, we’ll be starting indoor tennis sessions, so you can keep playing, staying active and enjoying tennis whatever the weather!

We are pleased to announce that The Impact Hub Youth Provision has received its first ever funding from BPR CVS to support the youth activities we have planned through to March 2027.

We are incredibly grateful for this support, which will enable us to continue creating meaningful opportunities for young people, particularly those from underrepresented and marginalised groups who may face additional barriers and challenges.

This funding will help us provide a safe and supportive environment where young people can build confidence, develop new skills, explore their potential and access opportunities that can help them thrive.

We are excited about the opportunities this funding will create and the positive difference it will make to the young people and communities we support.

At this week’s Youth Club session we kicked things off with a fun game of “This or That” to break the ice, have a few laughs and get to know each other a little better. ❤️
We then put the finishing touches to our business ideas, getting ready to pitch and present them to our very own judges! 💼✨
There were some amazing ideas, lots of creativity and plenty of confidence on show as the girls presented their businesses. 🏆
Our judges chose a winner... but in our eyes, every single girl is a winner! 💖 We’re so proud of everyone for having the courage to share their ideas, get involved and give it their all.
We had some new girls join us this week, so a very warm welcome to you all! 🫶
Here’s to new friendships, big ideas and lots more to come! 🌸✨

Join our qualified tennis activator for a fun and friendly session to get active, meet new people and enjoy being on the courts! 🎾✨

👧 6:30pm – Girls Youth Club (11–16)
In the evening, it’s time for our Girls Youth Club! We’ll be joined by a special guest, followed by a fun range of activities. ✨🙌
