To all of my lovely clients - a little life update for you all.
There comes a point in life where you have to stop asking yourself, “What should I do next?” and start asking, “What feels right?”
For weeks, I’ve gone back and forth over this decision, and with a heavy heart, I’ve decided not to go ahead with opening a new salon in Hamilton.
If I’m honest, this wasn’t the plan. I had the vision, the excitement, and the determination to make it happen. But sometimes life has a way of slowing you down just enough to make you see what really matters.
For the past six years, my business has been my world. I’ve worked tirelessly, sacrificed time with my family, missed special moments, and poured every ounce of myself into building something I’m incredibly proud of. I wouldn’t change that journey for anything because it’s made me who I am today.
But somewhere along the way, I realised I’d forgotten to make room for me.
I’ve come to understand that success isn’t always about opening another salon or chasing the next milestone. Sometimes success is having the freedom to breathe, to spend time with the people you love, to wake up without constantly carrying the weight of what’s next, and to enjoy the life you’ve worked so hard to create.
So, instead of opening another chapter in Hamilton, I’m choosing to open a new chapter for myself.
To everyone who was excited about the new salon, I am genuinely sorry if this comes as a disappointment or causes any inconvenience. I know many of you were looking forward to it, and I don’t make this decision lightly.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every message, every appointment, every recommendation, every kind word, and every bit of support you’ve shown me over the years. You have helped build not just my career, but my confidence, my resilience, and my belief in myself.
This chapter may have ended differently than I expected, but I truly believe it’s leading me exactly where I’m meant to be.
Thank you for standing by me—not just through the successes, but through the difficult decisions too.

To each and every one of you who has been part of this journey over the last 6 years… thank you. Whether you sat in my chair, worked alongside me, recommended us to a friend, or simply supported us from afar, you all played a part in this story.
It’s honestly been the best chapter.
It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions. We’ve laughed until we cried, celebrated life’s milestones together, supported each other through the hard times, and created so many memories that I’ll treasure forever. Looking back at these moments reminds me just how much we’ve all grown over the years.
I hope this little collection of memories makes you smile as much as it has made me.
Although today marks the end of Dawn Hair Hamilton, it doesn’t feel like an ending. It feels like the start of something new. New opportunities, new dreams, and an exciting new chapter that’s only just beginning.
From the bottom of my heart… thank you for every appointment, every conversation, every recommendation, every hug, every laugh, and for trusting me with your hair and your confidence for all these years.

Dear Clients,
I wanted to personally share an important update regarding Dawn Hair in Hamilton.
After much consideration, I have made the decision not to renew the lease on the Hamilton salon, which means our final day in the salon will be Saturday 27th June.
This decision has not been made lightly, and I am incredibly proud of everything we have achieved as a team during our time here. From building strong relationships with our amazing clients to creating a salon environment we were all proud to be part of, it has been such a special journey.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the girls for all of their hard work, dedication, and support throughout this chapter. Their commitment and passion have played such a huge part in everything Dawn Hair has become.
As we move into this next chapter, I am currently looking for a new, smaller space to work from going forward and will keep you all updated with any news as soon as I have it.
In the meantime, I am still taking appointments in Carluke and would love to continue looking after you there.
I’m also excited to share that Emma Devine will be opening her own salon in Lanark from the beginning of July, and I know many of you will continue to support her on her new journey.
We also want to wish Emma Hamilton all the very best as she prepares for the arrival of her twin boys. Such an exciting new chapter for her, and we know you’ll all join us in sending lots of love and well wishes.
I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your loyalty, trust, and support over the years. It means more than you know, and I am so grateful for every client who has supported Dawn Hair.
This is not goodbye—just the beginning of a new chapter—and I will keep you all posted along the way.
