💙 Introducing Autism-Friendly Haircut Appointments 💙

Before becoming a barber, I worked with people with autism for nine years, so supporting autistic people and understanding their individual needs is something I have a lot of experience with and something that is very close to my heart.

I already have lots of amazing autistic children who come to me for their haircuts, and I wanted to make other parents aware that I’m now offering a dedicated autism-friendly appointment option through Booksy. ✂️💙

These appointments will be around 40 minutes, giving us an extra 15 minutes so there’s absolutely no need to rush.

Every child is different, so the appointment can be adapted to what makes them feel most comfortable:

✨ One-to-one appointment
🎵 Music off if preferred
💡 Lights on or off
🤫 A quieter, calmer environment
⏰ Extra time to settle in and get comfortable
✂️ We can take the haircut at their pace

There’s no pressure and no expectation that they have to sit perfectly still or experience their haircut in the same way as everybody else.

My aim is simple to work with your child, understand what they need, and help them have a positive experience while being treated with the same kindness, dignity and respect as everyone else. 💙

Parents know their children best, so please feel free to let me know beforehand about any sensory needs, preferences, triggers or anything else that might help make their appointment more comfortable.
