Caroline's Hair

With this young lady it’s all about grey blending!! My client wanted a all over colour but she does have some dark areas so I suggested some highlights with an all over colour to even everything out!!
The highlights were only placed around the front , sides and back in her dark areas, the top left as it was !!
I think the blend is amazing!!
There’s different ideas to Greg blending and sometimes you just don’t need the lowlights in there!!

2 sets of highlights today, both very different!!
The first…… a very fashionable grey blending!! Just roots and putting the highlights and lowlights where needed to blend in with the grey!
The second…….. a complete change!!
My client normally has her roots done on quite a light tone!!
Today we…….
Highlighted, lowlighted and touched her roots up darker to give her dimension!! With a really good chop!! How different!! Hope her husband notices!! 😀😀❤️

Loved doing this young ladies hair!! She has hair that naturally lifts really well!! We did lots of fine highlights, a bit brighter around the front and because I know she takes really good care of it we did some tip outs through the ends so that the whole lot looked brighter!!
This isn’t something that can be done on anyone’s hair though, but it’s definitely given my client a total refresh!! ❤️❤️

A new client, hairdresser actually, and we spoke of the old times when we both worked in the village!!
Beautifully straight hair so great for this style and it does look highlighted here but she has no colour on it at all!! Just shows you how the camera can change things!! X

My client hasn’t been for a while so we needed to transform her as she’s due to have her baby soon!!!
She had plenty cut off and some ash blonde highlights to blend in with her natural greys!! Beautiful xx

I forgot to take a before but this is the end result!!
And my client today liked the colour of her ends, meaning a bit more golden not ash.
A really nice change!!
Lots of fine highlights and a new toner called butterkiss!!!

Well…..
I really enjoyed doing this young ladies hair today!!
She is a regular client!!
As you can see from pic 1 we’ve come a long way!!
My client loves to be blonde, but we do have to cover her roots because of the grey!!
We then tried to embrace the grey blending BUT
Grey blending isn’t all about letting it go grey it’s more about working with the starting canvas!!
Because my client felt her hair was fragile the last few appointments all we’ve done was use Demi colours which covered up to 80%.
But my client has a real white patch right on her parting!!
After a consultation
We decided to
Only use lowlights on her grey areas
We then balayaged the back and sides
The demi’ed the roots!!
Oh my god!!
The results are astounding!!
I don’t think the picture does it justice, it’s so SASSY!!! X
