It’s getting a bit nippy, which can only mean one thing...
We’re officially hitting sauna season - the best season of the year.
This is when you can maximise the mental and physical health benefits of a sauna and cold plunge.
As temperatures get chilly, saunas and cold plunges boost your wellbeing - perfect for when all those colds start flying around.
Derby Wild Sauna session will leave you feeling healthy and energised, especially when it’s chilly outside. Book your next session at the link in bio. 🍃

Is it your first time at a community sauna? Are you wondering what to do when you get here? Here’s a quick guide to getting the most out of your session 🧘
Start off with the sauna, feeling the heat relax your body and mind. The bottom bench is 10C cooler than the top bench, so you can find the heat level that works for you.
Listen to your body - there is no minimum time you need to sit in the heat.
Then have a quick shower and enter the 8C plunge pool (we also have a 4C plunge pool, but it’s better to start off warmer). Try a few seconds at a time to begin with - some people find it easier if they keep their feet out of the water.
Head back into the sauna - and repeat! You will leave after 75 minutes of moving between hot and cold feeling refreshed, energised, and you may well find your sleep improves and your mood is boosted. Enjoy!
