Apparently my hands and Foxy Red are simply not meant to be together because WHY does it look gorgeous everywhere else and then arrive on my hands like absolutely not 😭😂

The gels, the pigments & watercolours… I genuinely didn’t know what to use first.

There is something ridiculously satisfying about fresh nail supplies, and these shades are even prettier in person. That blue?! The pink?! THE rusted orange?! Stop it!✨

So it's Pumpkin Season and for the 1st time ever, I painted them.

Burnt orange, golden cat eye, tiny hand-painted pumpkins and a little French because ✨balance✨

I was kindly gifted this lamp to try and I’ve actually been really impressed with it for what I think it’s designed for.

It’s compact, cordless, easy to use and I LOVE the dedicated thumb areas, such a simple feature, but genuinely useful.

The touchscreen is nice too and overall it feels like a really handy little bit of kit.

For someone starting their nail journey and using the MelodySusie system/products it’s intended to work alongside, I think this is a really lovely, accessible option. 🖤

So I thought I’d go a little bit left field and see what these Xiejie cat eyes were actually all about, because I keep hearing that they’re really bloody good.

And... yeah. I get it.

Some of these genuinely rival cat eyes I’ve got that cost a hell of a lot more.

And I think if you’re a newer nail tech, building your collection, or you just want loads of different cat-eye options without going absolutely feral with your bank card these are such a good affordable alternative.

Just LOOK at them under the light. I mean... come on.
