I went pink!
Well that was an absolute circus show washing it all out 🤣🤣
*no filter to me but changed my background to hide the mess in my home and just covering myself before I get nailed 🤩
**no bleach was used during this process. My extensions were blonde and I dont condone bleaching dreads 😍

Wow, look at all that growth since I last saw this lovely lady back in May! 😍
I wonder if all that sunshine and fabulous summer weather has had something to do with it? ☀️
Today was all about pulling in that lovely new growth, tidying up loose hairs and getting those beautifully thick dreadlocks looking neat and tidy again. Just look at those gorgeous, chunky dreads! ❤️

How do you keep your dreadlocks looking fresh after maintenance?
I always try to keep mine looking as neat and tidy as possible for as long as I can after maintenance, although sometimes that's easier said than done! 😂
There are little things we can all do between appointments to help keep our dreads looking fresh, reduce frizz and look after our roots.
I've shared a few of my own tips in the picture, but I'd love to hear yours too!

We’ve been chatting for a few weeks now, so it was so lovely to finally meet her in person. And what a beautiful soul she is! 🥰
And WOW, what a head of dreads! 😍
These beautiful dreads have been part of her journey for a long time, originally installed by a friend many years ago. Today was their first proper maintenance with a loctician, and we had plenty to get stuck into!
Today we created new dreads from some of the loose areas, added extensions where needed and carried out repairs using her own natural hair. It was so lovely bringing everything back together and giving her dreads some much needed TLC. 🖤
I absolutely loved working on them, and I think you’ll agree they’re looking SO much happier! ✨

I installed these beauties about a year ago, and she’s been a regular client ever since. 💕
Today we gave them some much-needed maintenance, pulling in all that new growth and getting them looking lovely and tidy again.
She also brought along some human hair extensions of her own that she’d previously been using to add a bit of volume around the roots. This time, we decided to attach them to her natural dreads instead, giving her some extra length so she can finally tie her hair up! 🙌
And honestly, they are coming along absolutely beautifully. They’re so soft, healthy and they’re looking amazing!

Today we did some dreadlock maintenance on these partials that I installed just over a year ago. 💛
All the new growth was pulled in and tidied up, and then we went ribbon crazy with the decorations! 🎀 I absolutely LOVE how they turned out! 😍
It’s always so lovely seeing dreads I’ve installed grow and evolve over time.
