Planning my own wedding has made me look at bridal content completely differently.

When I was trying to find inspiration for my own wedding hair (I’m doing my own makeup) I actually found it really difficult to find clear images of the finished look I wanted.

There’s SO much beautiful content on Instagram. Reels, transitions, wedding mornings, product shots, behind the scenes… but when you’re actually a bride trying to find that one image to save and show your artist, it can take a lot of scrolling to get there.

And it made me look at my own feed differently.

I love how my feed looks, but I realised I’m guilty of exactly the same thing. Sometimes you have to swipe through a carousel or watch a whole reel before you actually get a really good look at the finished makeup.

So I’m changing that.

I’m starting a little series of bridal looks designed specifically to be saved as inspiration.

Clear photos. Close-ups. Different angles. Little video clips. And most importantly, the actual finished makeup front and centre.

I think being a bride myself has made me love this job even more 🤍
