The difference between the before and after🤍

My client came to me wanting her blonde to look healthier, brighter and more dimensional, rather than the dull, allover blonde she’d previously been having.

This was my first time getting my hands on her hair 🪄🪄Instead of opting for a full head of highlights, I strategically placed my foils exactly where we wanted to see brightness, while adding dimension back into the areas that needed breaking up with lowlights.

By alternating between two different lowlight shades, I created the perfect multi dimensional blonde, bringing depth, shine and life back into her hair without losing that beautiful brightness.

Finished with a soft root shadow and the creamiest toner to keep the blonde bright, blended and glossy

A little dimension makes all the difference and actually ends up making the hair look much brighter because it’s got the lowlights to balance it out 🤍

Brief was to keep it similar to what we started with, but enhancing it to make it more Blendy and sun-kissed💋🌞

Not sure how many times I have to say it, but extensions CAN and really should be this hidden and seamless. 🤍

My lovely client has been talking about not loving her hair for a while, but when hair extensions are first mentioned, people panic.

I hear it all the time:

“But won’t they damage the hair?”

“If she’s trying to grow it, why would we put extensions in?”

And here’s the short answer to why…

Because when they’re fitted correctly, maintained properly and chosen specifically for the condition of the hair, extensions can actually help you stop fighting with your hair every single day.

We’re not using extensions to disguise damaged hair or put unnecessary weight on it. We’re using them strategically to give her the length, fullness and confidence she wants while she grows her natural hair.

The goal isn’t for anyone to look at her and think “she’s wearing extensions.”

The goal is for them to think “wow, her hair looks amazing.”

And if you can’t tell where the natural hair ends and the extensions begin, that’s exactly how it should be. ✨
